  • Will open minds and change lives

From Carol Queen, Ph.D. and founding director of Center for Sex & Culture, who says it better than I could: "Nagoski has written one of the most important books about sex any woman (or anybody else) could ever pick up. Come As You Are will open minds and change lives."

  • Resources and actually helpful

I can honestly say this book gave me an understanding of female sexuality I never expected. While at times straightforward ideas are explained in more depth, the research adjacent to the topic gives a whole new perspective on the things we may have considered before about female sexuality. I love how the author not only explains what holds us back, but provides worksheets and exercises too! Would recommend to anyone interested in learning more about their preferences or just general concepts and research. The book contains a lot of references in the field of sexual and psychological research.

  • Everybody needs to know this.

An hugely impressive book about arousal, sexuality and sensuality that everyone should read. It has given me a lot of understanding of human sexuality. The concept of accelerator and brakes is hugely valuable and practical. As a man, I found that even though the writing is targeted at women, it has just as much to say about me. We are all alike, only different. Nagoski has a very good writing style that captures you and humanizes the subject. Her extensive practical experience in talking to hundreds if not thousands of people underpins the whole message in a layer of scientific credibility. I am a fan.

  • You will not regret reading this book

Couldn’t have loved this book more. I learned so much information about my own body and sexuality, and there are many tips that I plan on implementing in my life going forward. The book is entirely backed by scientific evidence but Emily is warm and humorous throughout making it an absolute delight to read. Please do yourself a favour and read this book. Then gift it to every woman you know.
