    Great and easy read

I was surprised at how easily I fell inlove with the characters. I enjoyed the different character perspectives throughout the novel. A very easy read, enjoy!

    Not her best

Ok story but not near the level of Bel Canyo or State of Wonder. Had to get into it. Interesting characters.

    Disappointing

After Bel Canto I have read all Ann Patchet's novels and found them absolutely wonderful, but this time, I simply didn't have the patience for all those mundane characters she introduced in Commonwealth at the outset and simply gave up caring what came next. She's such a gifted writer I do hope the next one is up to her usual high standards. Fingers crossed!!

    Connections matter

From the first sentence, Ann Patchett creates a cast of characters whose lives intertwine in all their complications. This tale of unlikely interdependence and what defines the common good will not disappoint.

    Modern story

The books story of two blended families has a great tone and pace although not told in a linear way. Enjoyable and well written.
