    Loved this book

In Crank we get to see how a grown up Deliliah and Blake are trying to adapt with changes that are happening all around them. Blake's self-worth issues still plague him and Deliliah has done everything in her power to make him see himself through her eyes. This is easily one of the best novels I've read so far this year. The love and angst are so realistic that you can't help but root for the couple.

    Great book, Great author!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Crank is the follow up book to the novella Burnout and is the continuation of Blake and Delilah's story 10 years after they married just out of high school. I don't think you have to read Burnout before reading Crank if you aren't a fan of novellas, but it definitely couldn't hurt. It was worth it. These two have been through a lot. They've suffered some great losses and Blake's demons as well as Delilah's loneliness seem to be ripping them apart. Blake wants to provide a life for Delilah, similar to what she had growing up, so he spends a lot of time at his shop Jack 'Em Up. He wants to make a name for his shop, but for a lot of the wrong reasons. What he doesn't realize is the life Delilah had growing up was incredibly lonely and she would rather not have anything if it meant they could be together more. This is definitely a tear jerker, but it was so worth it. Highly recommended book, highly recommended author; you can't go wrong. Can't wait for Jesse, Trace and Micah's books!

    Can't Put Down

This book picks up ten years after Burnout ended. (It isn’t necessary to read Burnout, but it will enhance the story.) Blake and Delilah are struggling in their marriage. Delilah doesn’t feel like she is getting what she needs from Blake. Blake still struggles with issues from his past. The story follows them as they try to work through their issues and get back to the happy couple they once were. There are some really heartbreaking moments in this book so have some tissues handy! All of the secondary characters introduced have me intrigued and I can’t wait for their stories! Shauna Allen knows how to write a book you don’t want to put down!
