    Take a sexy, hilarious ride

Over the last year, I have become a massive Power Station fan. If they actually existed in our world, I would be one of those fans that lined up to get tickets as soon as they went on sale and have an internet browser history full of searches for "Dan Evans". I absolutely devoured High Strung, loving every single inappropriate and surprisingly sweet moment from Dan and identified with Ashlyn. I really did not think anything could top this book, but found myself getting more and more eager for Crash Ride the closer the release date got. Oh wow, was I in for a treat! Crash Ride is one of those books that you pick up and do not want to put down because you've completely fallen in love with the characters and the storyline is so engrosing. I had always liked Troy Harris. He was the guy I looked at and thought, yeah, you're a really great guy. Now I look at him and think, "wow Troy Harris, you're not just a great guy, you're also sex on legs!" It is so difficult not to be attracted to him. And then there's Megs. Megs is the type of girl that you just want to be friends with. She's sassy, sexy and absolutely hilarious! The chemistry between the two is palpable, with so much banter and sexual tension, it's no wonder they couldn't stay out of bed...or the floor or the back of the car! Another aspect that made this book so enjoyable was the introduction of a number of new characters outside of the band. First there is Josh, a sexy, charismatic tattooist who has the potential to become a new favourite and I'd love to see a spin-off series based around the shop. The other stand out is Megs' teenage psych patient, Brad. This kid is something else altogether. He has all the makings for an extremely compelling stand alone book. Maybe if we beg enough, it might happen ;) All together, there is nothing I can fault about this book. It followed on perfectly from High Strung and explained why that book had to end where it did. The storyline felt entirely perfect for the couple, and the characters where relatable and absorbing. While Dan is still my favourite Power Station guy, I believe I've now got a new favourite T Gephart boook.

4.5 stars; Funny, hot, and sweet!

The second book in the Power Station series turned out to be as new and exciting as the first book. This book features another member of the band, Troy, who plays drums and Megs, Ashlyn's best friend who has been lusting after Troy for years. I loved the idea that an attraction based on fame and admiration from afar changed to something more substantial when the two became friends. While I understood why Megs and Troy decided in the beginning not to date, it was a little frustrating to see them dance around each other and the attraction there. It got to the point I wanted to reach into the book and smash the two of them together and leave them until they figured out what they were going to do. Watching them figure out how to not let anyone of their friends know was fun but tricky. I found it ironic Megan had a larger problem with telling everyone than Troy. He seemed like the perfect guy; kind, mild mannered, and confident, and ready for commitment. Megs was cool too. She really cared for her clients and friends. So the heat Troy and Megs gave off each other was fiery. It was like every time they came in the vicinity of each other, their bodies took over. It made for some really hot reading. There was a really interesting twist in the book. I totally didn't see it coming, but I think it was a great way to test the mettle of Troy and Megs relationship. It was hard to read and chocked me up emotionally. I loved how Troy handled the situation and I completely understood the pain they were both feeling. I really think Troy stole the spotlight in the book. I mean it was told from alternating points of view, which was great, but being in Troy's head was just amazing. It was great to see Dan and Ash again, as well as other band members, and not just as cameos but as integral parts of the plot. T Gephart really has me excited about this series and thankfully book three will be out later this year. Crash Ride was funny, hot, sweet, and just an overall great read.

    Troy Harris 5 STARS!

This is another great book by T Gephart. It follows Troy Harris and Megan Winters through their roller coaster relationship. I loved this book, Megs is a fun character who has a limited filter and an interesting internal monologue.

    Doesn't miss a beat...

As another witty and outspoken woman finds herself interacting with the guys from Stage Dive. What I loved about Megs is her sense of humour, inner monologue, and smart ass sass. I had a clear picture of her brilliance from start to finish! Had a few loud giggles on my plane... she actually managed to upstage the rock star! Worth a read, one of my favourites.

I just loved Troy and Megs :)

The moment I started reading the Power Station series, I just fell in love with Troy and Megs as characters. So of course once I finished High Strung, I immediately dived into their story :) And I was for sure not disappointed. Similarly to the first book in the series, Crash Ride is a light romance story full of somewhat fun situations, romantic gestures, misunderstandings and all that is well balanced with some heartbreaking scenes that brought tears to my eyes. The writing is again superb and the characters are very well developed. I am pretty sure you will love them as much as I do, when you read the book :) Troy is like the rock version of a teddy bear :) He is definitely sexy with all his tattoos, mohawk and amazing looks :) And when you add to that his sweet personality and faithfulness, he simply becomes irresistible :) Megs is also the perfect bombshell :) With her blond hair, great looks and quirky sense of humor, it will be quite difficult to find a man who is not attracted to her :) Megs has lusted after Troy for quite a while so when she meets him thanks to her best friend Ash, she is all over him. Well, that's mainly because of the high level of alcohol in her blood :D After that chance meeting Megs tries for months to seduce him. It takes quite awhile until both her and Troy are on the same page and even then things are not going very smooth, The main problem being that they are both worried that if their relationship doesn't work out, the situation will be quite difficult considering that their best friends are marrying each other. And that's why they come with the crazy idea of friends with benefits. Well, as you probably already guessed, that doesn't exactly work out as they expect it :D I have to say that I quite enjoyed all their antics until they finally confessed their love for each other and even after that :D But unfortunately not everything was laughter and roses after that. The heartbreak they had to live through, could've destroyed them but in the end only showed how strong their love for each other was. I have to say that the last few chapters in this book really touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Probably one of the most emotional chapters I've ever read. Apart from Troy and Megs, I really enjoyed revisiting with the rest of the Power Station Crew and I really can't wait to read Jason's story :) I think it will be quite the treat :) In a few words, I loved the book :) It is fun, intriguing and entertaining, with a healthy dose of heartbreak that only makes it that much better. The characters are so well written that you won't be able to resist falling in love with them :) So get your one click finger working and purchase this amazing story :) I am pretty sure you won't regret it :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.
