    Sassy Bayou meets Uptown Lawyer!

Erin does it again, this has all the things that make a book unable to put down, fun, laughs, family, romance and of course the WOW factor! You won't be able to resist the Cajun beauty Kennedy and the uptown rich Bennett. "I want you to go to Savannah with me" was not what Kennedy was expecting to hear come out of Bennett's mouth in return for saving her and the others from harboring animals they shouldn't. However, that's his request for payback of lawyer services, go to Savannah and attend his father's retirement party with him. Join Kennedy and Bennett on this steamy trip to his home where she learns there is much more to Bennett than he has ever let on. The chemistry has always been there underlying the teasing texts, the flirty phone calls but they didn't seem to have much in common otherwise. One weekend trip and both discover the attraction is more than off the charts chemistry, it runs much deeper. Discover all the great romance as well as the love and the steamy hotness that Erin is famous for with her characters. I loved all the Bayou Brothers and the entire Landry clan in this series, it's one of the best series from Erin that I have read and can't wait to see what's next!

Lots of humor and tugged on heartstrings

I thought that this was simply terrific romance. The fun storyline captures your full attention and does not let go until the last page is read. There are plenty of sparks and clever banter as Kennedy and Bennett's long simmering attraction (This is a standalone read but these two make appearances in the three previous books of the series) finally reaches the boiling point. There is lots of humor and tugged on heartstrings as these two struggle with their confusion and emotions as they try to reconcile what their heads tell them they should want with what their hearts actually yearn for. Kennedy, with her goth style, fierceness, sassy attitude and backbone of steel was someone I'd love to be friends with an just hang out. As for Bennett, I thought he was one silver-tongued, hot nerd with a beautiful heart. As a couple these two were sizzling, sweet and completely swoon worthy! If you are looking for a great romantic read that can deliver steam, heart and a excellent storyline, you can't go wrong with this book an in fact this whole series.

    Crazy awesome Cajuns!

This girl from the bayou is the best of the Boys of the Bayou series. Not only was I laughing at page one, there was no way I was putting this book down, regardless of how late it got! Kennedy is my sarcastic, cussing, tattooed southern sister-from-another-mister. Not only does she have a smart mouth, but she’s got street smarts that will get her farther in life than most people. She a caretaker of her family, as well as the family business. And she’s got the hots for buttoned-up, shiny shoe (ha!) Georgia lawyer Bennett...and isn’t sure whether she likes it or not! Bennett likes to give it right back to Kennedy, which throws her off her game when he tosses the curse words and dirty talk right back at her. The smoking hot chemistry is there between our mis-matched couple, as is the fun and dysfunction of the Landry family that we’ve seen in the previous books. But what Nicholas threw into Crazy Rich Cajuns was current crises and issues facing our country now, without it sounding preachy or political. It fit into the storyline seamlessly and brought both surprises and a richness to the book that stepped it up from the Landry boys books. That’s not a complaint or a dig...Owen, Josh and Sawyer’s stories were awesome. Kennedy’s books is fantastic! Yes, it can be read alone, as the whole series can. But please don’t. Read them all, in order, if that’s your groove (like it is mine). Despite the heat, humidity and bayou creatures, you’ll be itching to move to Autry, LA and looking for the Landry family yourself!

    Crazy Rich Cajuns

ARC for honest review with no compensation received from BookSprout Crazy Rich Cajuns is book 4 in the series Boys of the Bayou by Erin Nicholas and oh my what a read! We have read about Kennedy and Bennett in the prior books and now it’s their time! Wahoo! Once you start ... this book gets your attention from the first page, turning them as fast as possible to find out what happens next and sleep is totally overrated! So much heat, snark, flirty, family and most of all love!! Makes me want to meet these amazing people!!

    Bayou Hot

If it is even possible, I loved this book even more than the other Boys of the Bayou book. This book has it all; family, love, emotions, an awesome hero and heroine and great supporting characters. Kennedy is a tough as they come woman. She wears her armor by way of her clothes, piercings and make-up. It's her way of putting up walls to keep people out. Kennedy runs the office for the Boys of the Bayou swamp boat tour company that her family owns. It takes her no nonsense attitude to keep the company running efficiently. Everything is great until a new part owner is brought aboard, Bennett Baxter! Bennett loves the bayou and wants it to be a bigger part of his life. When he gets the opportunity to buy a portion of the swamp boat company, he jumps at the chance. He gets along well with everyone involved, except Kennedy. But oh, how he wants to get along with her. The feeling is mutual although neither one will admit to it. Bennett and Kennedy were nothing like I thought they'd be. They were so much more! I just loved them. I couldn't have imagined half of what happened. What a great book! And, holy moly, there are some hot scenes between the two. The one at about 34%...well let's just say that I'm shocked that my tablet didn't start smoking. It wasn't raunchy or anything, it was just hot! But will the two of them be able to overcome the obstacles in their way and have a future together?
