    Good storyline and characters

I really enjoyed this collection. I was sad to finish it and would definitely read more books with the same main characters. The books and characters were entertaining. Nice storyline while relationship developments keep you wanting more.

    Gets better and better

The books get better and better. I wasn't hooked till halfway through the first one but then the major twist got me shivering. At first I was a bit wondering, the main character seems to act quite immature but not in a bad way. The second book is fairly slow but the third book is full of action as we reach the climax of the total story. All in all well done. I just don't like cliffhangers and these all end on major ones. There is no way to not read all of them if you are interested in reading it to the end! So, this is a bit of a downturn, that it is truly one story cut into pieces to make you buy more but I guess that's the way it works to get people buying....

    Such a skilled author

I recently bought a Kobo, and went on a wild spree of trialling free books - The Faerie Gaurdian was one of them. I finished it shortly, and instantly bought a box set of books 1-3. As I finished book 2, I instantly regretted not just buying them all. Rachel Morgan is a skilled writer, whose ability to create a narrative that is not by any means linear and predictable, but has multiple layers and clever foreshadowing, in that the story unfolds in a controlled, but utterly gripping way. I hate storylines that are linear. She also establishes timelines skillfully, and is amazing in the vivid imagery and setting/environment. You almost feel like you are standing there, in Creepy Hollow. I want to say, that this is the most memorable series Ive discovered, that compares to the Harry Potter series. I would lose my mind if this ever became a tv show or movie. Please don't ever stop writing.
