    Family Dynamics

Alien Guardians series is an excellent paranormal/romance/just plain cute read!! The four ancient blades find their hosts. These Earthlings are aided by the alien guardian Lyran race. But what makes a great story telling is that not everyone wants to play nice and get along. Axel is a hybrid lyran with Panther shifting talents. When he meets blade host Sugar Jennings it is a love that has brought twins to the couple. This series is best enjoyed from the beginning as the characters and the story line build. Other Blade hosts are also very unique and likable characters that hold their own personalities and strengths. Everything I have read by McDonald has been enjoyable and very creative. "A copy of this book was supplied by the author with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

    I couldn't put it down.

I have been enthralled from the beginning with Sugar and her straight shooting ethics. Add in Axel who has no trouble with-holding important facts and watch the fireworks. All of the Blades will take exception to some new uncovered truths. The twists and turns keep on coming. An absolutely fascinating read. I couldn't put it down.

    Alien Dad-to-Be

How Donna McDonald is able to come up with these characters and storylines is a one of the great mysteries of the writing world. Alien Guardians of Earth Book 3, Dad Panther is laugh out loud funny. Aliens or not, expectant dads are not so different worlds over. What is different is when your wife is a blade host, who goes on a dangerous mission while expecting twins. Axel, Lyran prince and Dr. Sugar Jennings, host of a Protector Blade are the focus of this story but it includes many quirky supporting characters and ideas that make this a such an astonishing read. This is a Sci-fi book that keeps your interest while never resorting to horror. Now I am sad to see that all the blades have been found. Does this mean it is the last or will there be a spin-off? Remembering there are several of those quirky characters that could use their own story, so I’m hoping for more. The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    Great Ending

This is the last book of this fast-paced series. The author’s use of humor was excellent. Dr. Sugar Jennings, the host of a Protector Blade, is almost ready to have her twins. Prince Axel of Rodu, her alien panther mate, is a typical dad-to-be which is part of the fun. When the fourth and final blade sends out a call for help, Sugar must lead the other blades on the rescue mission as the Creator Blade and its host are on the run. With the help of the many supporting characters, they bring answers to the questions and provide closure. If you haven’t read the other books before this one, you may want to backtrack and take care of that so that you don’t miss the final details in this one!

    Lots of surprises and fun

Delving into the sci-fi world of Donna! What a fantastic story. Lots of surprises and fun. Dad Panther focuses on Sugar and Axel, since Axel is the Dad Panther!, but we see all 4 blades in action. I like how the story covers more than one person and the lives going on around them. Sometimes keeping things secret because you think it will be better for everyone involved, is not the way to go, especially when you are dealing with the Blades. Much trust is broken and the healing process will be long.
