    Thanks for your feedback!

    Great read

Great read! The last place Daisy Morris wants to be for her summer break is on a tour bus with S2J! After front man Trevin Jacobs caused her ultimate humiliation in front of her entire school by not showing up as promised for the prom, she have vowed to hate him forever! Trouble is, he's a really nice guy and giving him the cold shoulder gets harder and harder! This was very well written and I really enjoyed the characters. The story moves along at a great pace as well. Overall a very entertaining YA read that I definitely recommend.

    Can she trust again?

Daisy and Trevin already have a negative history before they meet. Her dad is one his bodyguards and she stays with him for the summer. This time she can meet with him in person! Daisy had won a date with him to her Homecoming dance about a year ago. He stood her up to go to an award show. Now, he asks her to give him a chance. No knowing or remembering who she is. Trevin is one of five members of the band, Seconds to Juliet. He is very popular and has a crazy schedule both on and off touring. He makes a bet with one of his buddies that he can get her to fall for him by the end of summer. But he may be the one in danger of falling.... Daisy is so frustrated. She wants to trust him and she knows she likes Trevin. He already hurt her and abused her trust. Can she give him another chance? Can she live with herself if she doesn't? The characters are so honest and careful in this story. The original characters from the other books in this series, Backstage Pass are here too! I was impressed with the development and the book is seriously hard to put down! ***This ARC copy was given free from Netgalley.com and its publisher, for review purposes. Enchanted Book Nook Review

I got the chance to read this book for free, in exchange for my honest opinion by YA Bound Book Tours My Review: It’s pretty safe to say that Rebekah L. Purdy is one of my all time favorite Young Adult authors, so when this tour came about I got all kinds of excited! This book was life for the week and a half that I read it, and I didn’t want anyone to bug while reading this either. This book is just hands down amazing, I had no idea this series even existed! Apparently I’ve been missing out, because each book in the Backstage series is written by a different author. In this book, Daisy has won a homecoming date with one of the band members from Seconds to Juliet, and her choice was Trevin Jacobs. However, the night of homecoming, Trevin ditched Daisy, and she was crushed. Worse of all, news crews and classmates where there to witness this event. After he stood her up, Daisy seeks to take revenge out Trevin, she doesn’t know when or even how this will happen, but it will. About nine months after Trevin ditched her, Daisy is finally granted her wish of seeking out revenge. Daisy’s dad who happens to be a bodyguard for Trevin’s band, has asked Daisy to spend the summer with him. The whole summer is spent with Trevin trying to win a bet he made with his band mates to make Daisy fall for him, and Daisy trying to get her revenge. I felt that both Trevin and Daisy are immature. Trevin for the bet he made, I mean we all knew it was not going to well, so why even make the bet, or for that matter why didn’t he drop it when he knew he was actually falling for Daisy. Daisy’s attitude towards men is also annoying, I know she has felt scorned by men in her life, but even so, I felt her character to be a little too stand offish. I think the plot of this book was a little bit too predictable, however that didn’t bother me, and there was a point in the book where the plot did take me off guard so kudos. I enjoyed seeing all the members in the band and how they interacted with each other, they definitely provided a lot of funny moments, and I look forward to reading each of the boys’ own books. Even though I have read many books and watched a lot of movies with the whole “betting you can’t get the girl” plot, there was just something about this book that I loved and found myself unable to put down. I guess it was the dynamic between both main character, and wanting to see how it would play out. Also Trevin was definitely swoon-worthy. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, cute, and at time humors read. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to read a cute YA romance, with some definite swoon-worthy moments. This book does contain some adult language and sexual situations, so that’s something to keep in mind before you read. Positive Elements: Daisy’s dad, Beau, is trying his hardest to make up with her. Daisy sees the summer as possibly mending relationships. Trevin tries to help his family out by sending them money, among other items, however, his dad does not approve and has attempted to put a stop to it. Negative Elements: There are several swear words in this book including damn, bitch, shit, hell, asshole, as well as the F-Word used several times. Daisy feels as if every man in her life has stood her up. Daisy’s dad was not present after her parents divorce. A woman admits to having an affair while her husband was away, and lied about for years. Spiritual Elements: God’s name is mentioned and misused a couples of time. Daisy thinks she will go to hell for lying. Slim tells Daisy her grandfather is looking down at her from Heaven. Other Thoughts: I love how Rebekah L. Purdy always makes references to Star Wars and Doctor Who!
