Book 4 but worked as a standalone

Apparently this is book 4 in the Rat Series. I didn't know this when I read it. I think it worked as a standalone, but then again I don't know what I'm missing. I enjoyed it, but his "Norwegian Wood" is still my favourite.

    Yes!

I’m a Murakami fan and have read most of his books. This one was special for me because it wrapped up neatly, reminiscent of “Norweigan Wood.” That feeling of completion is rare with his novels, which makes me question translation and page limits for editions.

    The best.

I've read most of Murakami, but Dance Dance Dance is by far my favorite. Works great as a stand alone, gets deeper if you've read Wind/Pinball and An Adventure Concerning Sheep. A friend described this book as a murdergk mystery, so if you normally read those kinds of books this might be a great step into Murakami. If you don't read murder mysteries, then you're like me and will still love this book. Enjoy!

    Great metaphysical mystery novel

Murakami balances the philosophical and the genre aspects of the story with great characters. Lots to like in this page turner!
