JA Jance is a great writer

I enjoyed the book, as I have all his previous ones I have read. I don't normally include comments when I rate a book; but felt I should as I didn't give it 5 stars. My problem was with the lengthy explanations of the Indian culture/religion (early in the book) and the seemingly never ending cast of characters throughout. Perhaps it's more a critique of my diminishing intellect (as I grow older) rather than Mr. Jance's writing skills.

    Lots of layers

Interesting how native history plays out in the modern world. Lots of players and more than 1 mystery to solve. Great read!

    Dance Of The Bones

It was a good story, but nothing over the top, slow at times and the outcome was expected. I have read better books by her.
