    Uhhh...

I'm going to be honest. I've only read the first chapter, but I couldn't push myself to read anymore. The writing seems... forced. Almost robotic. This is the first book of the series, and I sort of hope the first book Miss Linwood's written because it's not fully developed in many senses. The characters were clichés. They were shallow and disinteresting, like robots. And the whole time we're being told everything, we don't get to figure out the characters or their motivations ourselves. In a way, it reminds me of a fan fiction, with the exception of good spelling and relatively good grammar. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who understands how good novels work; it's more of a book for young teenagers. Maybe. More like written by young teenagers. Anyway, this is my review from the first chapter. If it becomes considerably better in the remaining chapters, I'll change my opinion. But not for the first chapter.
