    Lots of emotions and feels

I enjoyed this book. Jaxon and Mac's story had lots of emotions and feels. The chemistry sizzled and the storyline was fun. Toss in some humor, drama and heart and you have yourself a entertaining romance that sneaks into your heart. This is my frank, freely posted review.

    Jaxson & Macy were PERFECTION!

This is the third book in the Dare Nation Series and my absolute favorite so far. If you love a great sports romance with the biggest playboy who falls hard then this is the book for you! Jaxson and Macy's story is about marriage of convenience.... for him it's to show his team he's settled, no more crazy antics and for her it's for custody reasons. What happens when the the show they're putting on isn't a show anymore, feelings are emerging? This book had me laughing, smiling and devouring these pages I finished reading within a day. If you haven't started this series yet you definitely need to now!

    Loved it

5 star review Dare To Play (Dare Nation #3) by Carly Phillips   Dare to Play ticked all the boxes for me, from Alpha males, to feisty heroines, to family love and support and I was captivated from the first to the last page. This is pitcher Jaxon Prescott and Macy Walker’s story and it was a highly entertaining read. Jaxon is on the brink of losing it all, his career is at risk thanks to his off field behaviour. He needs to fix his reputation and he needs to do it quickly. When it is suggested that Jaxon needs a wife to help clean up his image and his reputation, his sister’s best friend seems like a likely candidate. Macy needs to prove to the courts that she is suitable to take on the custody of her step sister. Helping Jaxon will give her the stability she needs to ensure she gets custody. What happens when lines are crossed? The chemistry and attraction between them sizzles even as they try to resist. I loved the build up of their relationship, it was humorous, sweet, romantic and steamy. What happens when emotions become involved? Will they walk away or will this marriage of convenience turn in to true love? One click and find out.

    Easy, fun read!

Dare to Play is the third book in the Dare Nation series and while it is part of a series, you can read this book as a standalone. Marcy Walker gained sole custody of her 15-year old sister, Hannah, after their father passed away 8 months before. Hannah's Mom, Lilah, has been absent and hasn't been part of her life for many years. Now she's shown back up and is showing interest in gaining custody of Hannah back, making Marcy wonder what her real agenda is. Jaxon Prescott is a star pitcher for the Miami Eagles, but he's also known as a playboy. He's not one that is interested in settling down after being burned in a relationship years earlier. He's recently made some not so great decisions and he's been in the media far too much for the team executives and his agent/PR representatives liking. With Marcy being besties with Jaxon's sister, Bri, she's been around often, so when the two run into each other at Jaxon's brother's wedding, no one thinks twice. It's not until the next morning when Marcy is photographed by the paparazzi doing the walk of shame from Jaxon's house that Lilah wants to use that against her in the custody suit and it's not going to make things better for Jaxon either on the PR front. When the two agree that a marriage of convenience might be the best solution, will they go through with it and more importantly, will it end up being more real than either of them could have imagined? I've always enjoyed Carly Phillips books and this one is no exception. The characters were great, it moved at a quick pace and was an easy, yet fun read. Marcy and Jaxon had amazing chemistry and I liked how Marcy, Jaxon and Hannah all grew throughout the book. I'd highly recommend picking up this title!

Jaxon & Macy make a great team!

I love a good marriage of convenience especially when it is mutually beneficial to each person involved and they’ve already established that they have amazing chemistry. Jaxon and Macy are great together and make a great team! I love the ease at which they were able to fall into the day to day of being together out of the bedroom as well as in. As one would expect Macy’s 15 year old sister Hannah is quite a challenge in many different ways and it was surprising to see how easily Jaxon handled that. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to more from this series!
