  • Daughter of moloka’i

Loved the first book Moloka’i and this is a nice finish. He has a great writing style and loved how it is woven in with facts that happened.

  • Daughter of Molokai

For some reason I did not enjoy this book as much as his first two Hawaiian novels. It was interesting to read the story of Ruth though.

  • Great story of love and family

A good read. Very interesting to learn some history about the internment of the American Japanese during WWII that I didn’t know much about. Didn’t realize this was a Book 2 in the series. Will have to backtrack and read the first!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • excellent

This book was a gem. Story flowed smoothly. Brennerts writing is like having a conversation with him . All characters were strong and resilient. Loved it and didn't want it to end
