    Daughter of moloka’i

Loved the first book Moloka’i and this is a nice finish. He has a great writing style and loved how it is woven in with facts that happened.

    Daughter of Molokai

For some reason I did not enjoy this book as much as his first two Hawaiian novels. It was interesting to read the story of Ruth though.

    page turner

Well written with love and respect of traditions of the Japanese and Hawaiian culture. So sad ro see how even todsy in the 21st century we still have hatred and lack of understanding of other cultures.page turner

Great story of love and family

A good read. Very interesting to learn some history about the internment of the American Japanese during WWII that I didn’t know much about. Didn’t realize this was a Book 2 in the series. Will have to backtrack and read the first!
