    Amazing book!

Daughter of Souls & Silence is the second book in the Rogue Ethereal series and continues the story of Max and her friends. Daughter of Souls & Silence began right where Woman of Blood & Bone ended and I couldn’t help myself by finishing it in two days. The story was so fast paced and enjoyable to read, just like the first book. It was no surprise that I was going to love Daughter of Souls & Silence because this was already the third book I read written by Annie Anderson and I loved her two other books. The story is just so interesting and amazing and I loved the multiple perspectives! Daughter of Souls & Silence was an amazing sequel with yet another beautiful cover, and I cannot wait to read the third book!

    notting is predictable

This is the second book in a series about a witch who is banned by her own people at the age of 14 and has to find out for herself what her powers are. In the first part, Maxima (Max) killed a demon. Max is the only living creature who has a weapon to kill demons. Then she is asked by the Council to kill her father, also a demon, because of all the bad that he did, including the murder of his father and his brother. At first Max refuses until her friends and herself are being chased by a demon. When her sister threatens to become a victim, she goes after the demon. Again a lot of action and unexpected turns that make this part very catchy. As a reader you get to see more and more of the background of Max and her lived life. Never trained as a witch, she has taught herself everything and finds out that she can do more than other witches. That she has more powers and this is what she uses to make the world a safer place for others I recommend everyone to read these books if you like the paranormal world with all its special creatures, if you like tension and like to be misled. Nothing is predictable in this story
