    Dax and Regan

Oh my goodness, Dax did a thing! He up and married Regan when he found out she was sick and needed insurance. Seriously! Isn't that something special. We knew he was a sweetheart but this beats all. Now they are trying to keep it quiet but, oops, alcohol helps to loosen up the inhibitions and kisses happen and then clothes are coming off but then the next morning happens and Dax steps on his own tongue when he can't get out of his head and ends up apologizing. Crazy! Good thing his sister comes to visit and her naughtiness brings her and Regan to the rookie party and Dax goes all Alpha husband and lets it slip that he has every right to act that way because this is a new start for them. Now they need to learn to live together but will ever learn to get out of their own way and learn to love. Stay tuned, this was a great read and truly one not to miss. You could read this as a standalone but I will say about this one as I do all the others, WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO! THIS IS A GREAT SERIES THAT CANNOT BE MISSED! Next up is Tacker and I already have a box of tissues waiting for that one! Bring it on!!!! **Received this ARC for review**

    Fantastic

Once again Sawyer Bennett found a way to hit all the emotions with this story. I laughed, cried, swooned, and cheered all while I learned something new. Dax stole my heart right from the start with his kindness and caring nature not to mention his incredible sexiness. Reagan was a great match for him and you know from the beginning that their crazy marriage of convenience plan is never going to work. Put this one on the must read list, I highly recommend it.

    Oh Dax!!!

I am always excited to get a hockey-themed book from Sawyer. The storylines are compelling and keep you entertained throughout the book. I can tell there has been some research done during these books both with hockey and the other "stuff" that Sawyer throws your way. Dax and Regan are so enjoyable. The back storyline with Tacker and the things that he and his team are going through remind me of some real-life happenings on one of the NHL teams this past season. You are reminded that even though these guys are professionals, they can't just turn off their feelings very well. This is part of a series, and quite honestly I feel you should read the other books so you can totally understand each character. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. Not much angst (thank goodness).

Excellent addition to the Arizona Vengeance...

Regan & Dax are a wonderful continuation of the Arizona Vengeance storyline. Dax was super protective/supportive of Regan, and it helped make him endearing. I appreciated how strong Regan was despite the challenges she’d faced. Very curious to see what’s going on with Dominick...

    In Sickness and in Health

3.5 stars Dax is a sexy best friend's little sister/marriage of convenience romance. The story is book 4 in the series and runs along the same timeline as the previous book, Legend, but can be read as a stand alone. For maximum enjoyment though, I definitely recommend them since previous characters appear throughout the series. Dax and Regan had amazing chemistry and I really loved the progression of their friendship to more. They have known each other their whole lives and I think that added a sweetness to their connection that I don't always feel. Yes, there is push and pull between them as the lines get blurred, but I liked that there wasn't any unnecessary drama between them (or if there was, it was resolved quickly). I think what made this a less engaging read for me, was that it felt like this book spent just as much time on Dax and Regan as it did setting up the next books in the series. Don't get me wrong - I can't wait to read Tacker (I just want to hug this man so much!!) and Dominik's (YUM with a capital Y!) stories, but I felt like it took away too much of the spotlight from Dax and Regan. I did love seeing all the previous couples (Erik and Blue!) and characters as well as getting to know Willow, Dax's sister and the likely love interest of team owner Dominik Carlson. An enjoyable read overall and I'm excited to continue on with the series! *I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*
