  • Dean

Kathi S. Barton has shown the worst of human nature in Hunter Booth, Isabella's brother, and the best in Dean Marshall and his family. Once again she gives a member of the Marshall Shadow in Dean. He and his mate, Isabella, meet when she arrives at Harris and Shep's house for dinner to discuss their landscaping needs and those of the rest of the shadow. That's when this adventure actually starts when Bella is quite literally knocked off her feet, not once but twice, by Dean. I've chuckled and laughed at some of the antics, shivered and gotten angry by the evil displayed, and cried tears of not just sadness but the happiness and joy that is shared. This one is deep and only promises to continue with 'Oakley' in the next book. I can't wait.

    Thanks for your feedback!
