Death of civilization; the apocalypse begins by nathan hale

Congratulations on the author's attempt to write a book. Unfortunately it's now the worst book I have ever read. The religious tripe spewed forth is simply unbearable in its Christian fascism. Another of its many failings are the continuous errors of military tactics and usages of weapons. Combining the lack of research in military matters, the hatred toward anyone non Christian and unbelievably poor grammar. This book should be read by all aspiring writers on how to not pen a novel.

    Nice Plot

Good book. Well written. Author provides a well thought out premise and use good transitions to keep the reader interested and informed on the plot.

Absolute rubbish in every conceivable way.

This is possible the worst book I've ever read (or not finished - this rarely happens). Even ignoring the eternally frustrating tendency to turn every second or third sentence into an exclamation(!!), the author simply rams their ignorant political-leanings down your throat. This is poor writing first and foremost, but topped off by a unbelievable misappropriation of the blame we should put in the political systems (and ideology) we're faced with today. No, the 'leftist pinkos' are not the likely culprit for deliberate and calculated future armageddon. If you're going to try to write a story about apocalypse, perhaps you should correctly identify a legitimate, likely culprit, rather than spouting right-wing, wildly-ignorant propaganda like there's no tomorrow (no pun intended). I spent so long trying to work out how anyone could possibly believe this was a possible, likely outcome, I actually further lost my 'faith' in humanity. Reading this like having my teeth pulled. It was like reading the musings of an angry 14-year-old who is yet to understand the world enough to form a logical, unbiased view of it, let alone mature enough to articulate those views coherently. I honestly have never read ANYTHING which has so immediately made me want to stop reading it. It was more than painful, it made me upset to think that this dross is being published at all. All the while legitimately fantastic literature is languishing unsold due in part to the paradox of choice; the more quantity there is, the more inevitably you find rubbish like this. Please don't read this - you don't have to be a left wing voter to feel dirty that someone actually is so misguided as to believe the world actually works like this. If the author DOESN'T believe in the political situation they outlined, they seriously need to give up on writing, full stop. In no way is set-up based in reality. I don't know what's worse. I'd give it zero stars, but apparently that isn't an option. Not even worth it if it was free.

    I wonder?

Makes you think! but ? This is almost a horror story, nice to imagine that the "infallible" could get it all so wrong
