  • Great!

The story of Wolf and Chrissy is alternately sweet, sad and frustrating. Despite Chrissy protesting that she's not interested in Wolf, he is relentless in his pursuit. More so than any other book for a long time, Deeper Than the Ocean reminded me that people, or characters, are shaped by the experiences they have, and Chrissy is absolutely a product of some very trying experiences. Wolf is first class at playing the part of Chrissy's protector, which isn't always welcomed. Add in to this mix, the ongoing pursuit of treasure and you've definitely hit the mother lode of a story. This series just keeps getting better and better.

  • More Than 5 Stars!

Deeper Than The Ocean - More Than 5 Stars! I just love this series and this instalment is the very BEST book to date! I have been waiting for Ray & Chrissy’s story and it was fantastic. Ray has set his sights on Chrissy, but after one misinterpreted date, Chrissy labels Ray, a “Player” and refuses any idea of a permanent relationship with him. She has put Ray in the friend zone. Ray is in love with Chrissy and wants the whole romance, marriage, and children package. There are attempts on Chrissy’s life after she witnesses a crime and Ray is determined to protect her. The scenes are action-packed and suspenseful. There is a lot of chemistry between Ray and Chrissy. AND, the flashbacks on the treasure of the Santa Cristina and more in depth and informative. There are more details on the crew of the ill fated Santa Cristina. I can’t wait for the next instalment! Seriously “Deep Six” fans you must read this book! I received an ARC for an honest review.

  • Great story!

This was a great action packed read that left me on the edge of my seat and wanting more when I finished! As this series is getting closer to finding the treasure, the group is still finding love. In this edition, Wolf and Chrissy take the plunge. Chrissy who had a troubled upbringing surrounding the examples of falling in love from her mother, a mother who fell in love often to get married to then find herself hurt again and again.. We also get Wolf who has fought his feelings for Chrissy for a long time to then give into those feelings. The story was action packed as Chrissy finds herself in trouble and Wolf is the one to protect her. The chemistry between this pair was off the charts and scorching leaving me hooked to this story. Overall, this was a great book that I was sorry to see end but enjoyed just the same.

  • It has it all!

Sometimes I forget how utterly amazing this authour can spin a tale, draw you in, and make you forget you are reading, not in the world with the characters. Then I read this book, and everything comes back to me! Wolf and Chrissy’s story had it all, adventure, disappointment, suspense, injuries, friendship, love, betrayal, and steam. Chrissy is in deep denial; Wolf is utterly confused at her denial. But they both make some realizations and discoveries as they spend time together, about each other, and themselves. Of course, having to protect Chrissy from the bad guys trying to do her in gives them some intense moments, and opportunities to release all that adrenaline *grins* I didn’t think they would be making me cry, but alas, they did, but only for a moment, before they got it all together!

  • My Favorite Of The Series-So Far!

This is Deep Six book 4 and I would absolutely read this series in order or you may be lost as some of the things that have happened previously that are spoken about. In this one we get Ray “Wolf” Roanhorse and Christina Szarek's story! Wolf knew Chrissy was the woman of his dreams when he met her. But he screwed things up with her in a big way. And ever since then, she just want to be friends-that's it. He knows he has his work cut out for him if he ever hopes to change her mind, and win her heart and her trust again. Chrissy knows all about men like Wolf. She grew up watching her mother with them. If she had her way, she would be able to avoid Wolf altogether. But that isn't possible due to partnership. And the more she is around him, the more he makes her walls drop. But when mysterious people start trying to silence her, Wolf will do what he has to in order to keep her safe. I have been impatient to this book since the very beginning! I knew something big had to have happened in order to drive such a big wedge between Wolf and Chrissy. And boy, I wasn't wrong there! I would want to smack Wolf around and avoid him as well! Wolf was a complete moron! But he at least owns that he is was stupid. And when he puts his mind to a relationship, he doesn't hesitate to do anything he has to do. Chrissy has a lot of hangups due to her upbringing with her mother, and I completely get it. Things like that make it hard to trust people. But when she does, she does it with her whole heart. She isn't afraid to put herself in harm's way for the people she lets in but she still has a hard time giving second chances. But I still loved her character and how she is!There was lots of action and things that came about that I wasn't expecting but I loved this book! It swept me up right from the beginning and left me wanting more when it ended. And I really didn't want it to end! I think this one is definitely my favorite of this series-so far! Because after some of the snippets for Romeo-that one may just be up there as well! I can't wait for the next in this series!
