    Fun and entertaining!

This is a great read! The book begins with two cousin's preparing font a wedding. The two women go to pick up their grandfather and discover that he has died. In order for her wedding day to proceed as planned, the bride convinces her cousin to keep the death a secret until after the wedding. The women proceed to undress their grandfather and put him in his bed. The wedding goes as planned but what the women did not know was that their grandfather had been poisoned! While the bride is on her honeymoon the cousin becomes the prime suspect in the murder of their grandfather. The setting for this story is in Italy and the Italian family is hilarious! I enjoyed this mystery/romance so much that I read it in one sitting. At the end of the book I was sorry to leave the fun and loveable characters.

I had a great time reading the book. I had my share of LOL moments. Great balance of drama, comedy, suspense, romance. I want to finish the series of books.

    An entertaining cozy mystery.

This is a delightful, funny, suspenseful debut book in the Temptation Florence series. Carlina, the owner of Temptations, a lingerie store in historic Florence, is also a member of a large eccentric Italian family. When Carlina & her cousin Emma find their grandfather dead just before Emma's wedding, what do they do? Well, move the body, undress it & put it to bed, of course. What could it matter if the announcement of their grandfather's death is delayed a day? Well, as the story unfolds, a lot. When the police get involved, will more deaths follow? Will Carlina's cover-up make her a prime suspect in the death? I loved the chemistry between Carlina and the Commissario Stefan Garini & the rapport between Carolina's family members. I am looking forward to reading more books in this entertaining series. Although I received a copy of this book from the author, this review is submitted voluntarily & solely my experience with the book.

    Delightful New Cozy Series

Delayed Death seems to prove the cliché that no good deed goes unpunished. Carlina was only trying to help when she decided to delay the news of her grandfather's death for a day. Her generous impulse results in a series of misadventures for the close-knit, unpredictable Mantoni family and a laugh-out-loud funny read for the rest of us. This cozy mystery is set in Florence and told with good-natured charm and an eye for detail that makes you feel you're in that beautiful city. Once I started reading it, the dust bunnies under the bed had to wait. I couldn't put it down.

Thank you for beautiful pictures in my mind

This cozy mystery in beautiful Florence drew me right into the life of the young and cheerful Carlina, her family, and the death that happened. The story was sometimes funny and sometimes bizarre, but very close to real life. I enjoyed the big Italian family, the tension as the story develops, and the way the mysterious murders are solved. In fact, I was only able to put the book to the side after I had read the last page . . . and even later, I kept seeing pictures in my mind as if I had lived the life of Carlina myself or as if I had seen a good movie. It's amazing and exciting to see how much can happen just because of a pair of socks. I'm happy there are more books in the series, so that I can go on and meet Carlina, her family, and the attractive investigating inspector right again.
