    Revenge or not

This is the 2nd book in the Delta series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding: I recommend reading both the Titan series and the 1st Delta series book beforehand. This will avoid unnecessary spoilers for the reader. Javier and Sophie know one another through her brother, who works with Javier. At her wedding, she gets rid of the man who cheated on her and sets her sights elsewhere. Then Javier and Sophie see one another again in Honduras. Sophie has had 6 months to get over the wedding that wasn't. She is now hot for Javier and he seems hot for her too. The sparks are flying so much everyone feels them in the room. This is such an amazing story! The heat is turned up nice and hot. The characters have really good banter. The pace goes along steady and fast. This is a great time to be a DELTA and TITAN fan! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

    Delta: Revenge

Cristin Harber has outdone herself again with this book! Javier and Sophia have a story unlike any other in the Titan or Delta series. The character development is outstanding. The action is heart stopping and the romance is off the charts HAWT!!

Great balance of intense passion and danger

4.5 Stars! This book. I love it! Not very eloquent, I know but just enough to express exactly how I feel about it. The connection between Javier and Sophie was beyond words and made me melt. Besides, don't you just love a guy who's not afraid to put himself out there and declare his feelings? Javier Almeida has been driven by the need to avenge his sister who was sold to a human trafficking cartel, and his recruitment into Team Delta came with the promise that he would get his chance to do just that. But after his one night stand with Sophia Cole, on the night of her botched wedding no less, he can't stop thinking about her and for the first time in his life, he finds himself distracted from his plan for revenge. If anyone epitomizes grace in a tough situation it's Sophia Cole, but then her mother trained her well. After walking away from her cheating groom at the altar, Sophia just wants to celebrate her narrow escape with cake and champagne, but being on display can be tough on a gal, so she sneaks away for some privacy and finds herself celebrating in a different way with her older brother's teammate she's had a crush on, the tatted and sexy Javier. And it's certainly a night to remember, one that blows all her previous sexual encounters out of the water but when their paths cross while working in South America, it's not all sunshine and roses. Javier knows the reality of life in this part of the world and wants to keep Sophia safe, but Sophia believes in her mission and won't leave in spite of the risk. But when she's in danger, Javier will have to make a tough choice between revenge and love. How hard will this choice be? Javier and Sophia are an unlikely pairing with their backgrounds, but they are perfect for each other. With a pain and loss-filled past like Javier's, it was big deal for him to open his heart up to Sophia and I love that he dealt with his feelings for her the same way he did everything else: fearlessly. I love Sophia's independent streak and her loyalty, even though I didn't care much for her stubbornness in the face of danger. With every new book, Ms. Harber's writing only gets better. Javier and Sophia stole my heart and ran off with it. Parker who? Delta: Revenge is a great balance of intense passion and danger and I can't wait for the next book in the series, maybe Colin's? Hot, action-packed Titan spin-off

It’s been a while since I’ve read a book that I just could not put down. Don’t get me wrong…I’ve read some good books. Books I’ve enjoyed. But a book that made me want to stay up all night to finish it? To keep telling myself ‘end of the chapter’? It’s been a while. Cristin Harbor and the men of Titan to the rescue! Delta: Revenge is full of hot, hawt sex; strong characters; and adrenaline fueled, heart-thumping action. If you’ve read my reviews before, you know I don’t rehash the plot. There’s a two main reasons for that - 1. You can read the damn blurb for yourself; and 2. I don’t want to give away any main plot points and possibly spoilers. This is one of those times I want to though, because I want to break each scene down and tell you want I loved about each one. So instead, let’s focus on the characters. Javier is tortured. Growing up in the slums, fighting for money, trying to find and punish the criminals who trafficked his sister, he has a lot of issues. And Cristin just keeps on torturing him. It may make me evil, but I loved it. As hot and sexy as Javier is, Sophie was, by far, my favorite. We’re introduced to Sophie on the day of her non-wedding, questioning everything she’s about to do. He’s not really a primary character in the book, but Cristin sums up the fiance perfectly in one short phrase. “Adequate sex and a good soufflé" That may do it for some, but not Sophie. She’s not the kind of girl who settles for adequate sex. She’s the kind of woman that gets into situations that require a “shit’s-gone-down-now-do-this-manual.” She wants passion and a guy who’s going to make her swoon. And boy does she find it in Javier. So you get it, right? Delta: Revenge is a great read. Don’t worry about it being book two of a new series—a spin-off of her Titan series—it can be read as a stand-alone. If you like action and steamy, sexy couples, you need this book in your life.
