  • Desired!

After meeting Cord in the last book I wondered what his story was and we get that and more. The story has a hint of mystery, suspense, danger, and the steam you need. It’s love at first sight or scent as is the case. I was glued to my screen the whole time reading and now I’m intrigued by Marne and Harlan.

  • Why choose one? When you can have both

I love that Cord finally finds his scent mate and their mate. We also get a little bit of a mystery as they dig into Nash's past and how he ended up away from the Two Marks pack. And I never would have suspected that we'd see her ex again in the book. Rachel has been living a life that doesn't feel like it's her own. For years her family has been pushing her towards the son of their family friends. They've molded her into being the perfect senator's wife. She's ready to put her foot down and when she goes to dinner with her boyfriend, she gets this funny feeling, and when she spots the congratulations banner she bolts. She makes her way to West Springs and is waitressing at the local diner when she meets Cord. The local doctor and Two Marks pack member. He's surprised at his reaction to Rachel, especially because he'd never found his scent mate. Now that he's found her he's not willing to let her go. So he invites her to the pack barbeque. Nash is visiting from another pack, after helping a former pack member move into the area. When he makes his way outside he catches the scent of his fated mate. But she's already there with someone else and they're both willing to fight for her. But the pack leader suspects that the men might just be scent mates.

  • Great addition to the series

This newest addition to the Two Marks series had a few more unexpected twists and turns then I expected, so there’s a bit of a mystery involved. It adds more to the fated mates plot, which is already a huge draw for this reader. I was very happy that Cord was going to find a mate and a scent match in this book, but was also a bit disappointed. I felt he was overshadowed by Nash, the newcomer to town. Rachel was an intriguing character…having been a rule follower and good girl for so long, it didn’t take much for her to find her new self with her mates. Overall, I enjoyed the book, but in my opinion, Cord was treated as an accessory to the Nash and Rachel match. I’m sure others will disagree, but without giving away spoilers, I’ll just leave it at that. Still a 4 star read for great writing, interesting characters and and engaging plot.

  • Steamy & Engaging

I really enjoyed Nash, Rachel and Cord's book. There were a couple intriguing twist to this story that brought a breath of freshness with it and made their story a bit more unique. I found these characters easy to like and care for. Their chemistry was steamy and intense and they can generate plenty of heat and sparks. Each of these characters has their own issues that they are dealing with outside of their new relationship and I felt that helped create a complex and engaging read. There was one thing I wholeheartedly wish had been explored more because I had questions but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

  • love this series

Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose’s latest in the Two Marks series, Desire, was fantabulous. I actually can’t say whether it’s the story or my present mood, I found it downright hawt in all the right ways. Rachel, Nash and Cord make for a great throuple, or would that be a menage. The characters are very different and under different circumstances, probably would never even register the others, but thrown together…Ms. Vale and Ms. Rose create a cohesive team that will have you rooting for them. The baddie is totally unhinged and evolves quicker than you can say, “no money for you” and the rumored baddie is tortured for different reasons. Add in the happy couples in the other Two Marks and Wolf Ranch books, you’ll feel like you’re sitting down to a BBQ with family and all the quirks and trials and good times that come with it. And, if you’ve ready any of their other books, I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but the scenes are hawt and will leave you very bothered.
