This one's a Keeper! One of the best...

I've been reading the ARKANE series of books for quite sometime, and this is one of the best. Like its predecessors, it has all the same elements of world endangering mayhem and rich historical backdrops J.F.Penn so expertly weaves into her stories, but there is so much more. I loved the settings; reading about places I might never see on my own. But I also liked how the story stitched together elements of intrigue with character motivations and their passions. Backstories are so important to get a feel for what propels a character. You get that in this book without loosing sight of the goal. And it all fits seamlessly together. It was a great read. A fast read. Can't wait for the next!

    Great Read!

A great read, well worth the wait. It was great having Morgan and Jake back together again racing through another adventure. The new characters were introduced with just enough detail to inform, but not bore you. It read very quickly and I'm eagerly waiting for the next installment.

    Great

I loved this book and found it every bit as engrossing as the others in the series. They have all been difficult to put down.

    OUtstanding thrilling aciton packed read

I love how this author weaves the plot to give you a highly entertaining read. I was hook with the first audio of hers I listened to. She has a talent for putting different religions and their many different beliefs as they race to save the world and sometime destroy depending on their beliefs or whose side they might be on. Each feels they are right and others are wrong. Their one goal is to reassemble Shiva which is a statue to get the gods attentions for Asha. The plot is outstanding as the author grabs your attention giving you a page turn that you can’t put down. The story starts off with a bombing and those that are injured with a thrilling story line that counties throughout the book to the last page. This is an action packed filled read with mistrust and misdeeds. This is one author that has done her research as she gives you the history of the ancients, religions facts, why giving you all the facts on politics from all around the world. She has a way of twists all the facts into a compelling story that before you know it you have had a history lesson on things you had no clue about. I know when I pick up one of her books I will be entertained along with learning amazing facts that I never had a clue about. I love her writing style and how she weaves, twists and turns her stories to make it a wonderful read that stays with you long after you put the book down. If you are looking for an intriguing fast paced read that you can’t put this book down this is the book for you.

    Thrilling ride!

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was a little hesitant about reading this book as I had never been interested in India or its history before. What a surprise I had in store! J.F. Penn could have been an awesome history teacher! This story grabbed me right from the start and hurled me through the pages. I have to admit that I read it over a two day period as I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Nor could I wait to learn more about the religion, the country and the history of India. If you like action packed thrillers, Destroyer of Worlds is a must. The character development through the series has been spot on and you root for them as they race to stop ... well, I'm not going to tell you that part -- you'll have to read it for yourself! And make sure you have some time blocked off, good luck putting it down once you start!
