    Thanks for your feedback!

    Awesome werewolf action

I have a huge complaint with Diamond Moon: it wasn't freakin' long enough. Darci and Ross are characters I wanted to spend a LOT more time with. *Pause for major bitch fit* Poor Darci is a half-werewolf whose parents died when she was young, so she was raised by non-wolfies. She wants nothing more than to ditch her half-shifter side and be normal because the shifting every full moon hurts, as in progressively almost-killing-her hurts. So, guided by a cryptic note left behind by her werewolf father, she heads off to Los Lobos, hoping to get some answers before the next full moon. Then there's sweet, sexy werewolf Ross--and what's super-awesome about Ross is his kitten. His kitten, people! A werewolf adopted by a kitten! How fabulous is that? That alone is enough to make me smile, but Ross is in Los Lobs helping the werewolf clan reconstruct their lives by funding houses out of his own pockets. Gotta love a compassionate, generous shifter. He knows Darci is his mate and has the tough job of convincing her of that truth, no easy task when she's scared out of her mind that she's going to die at the next full moon shift. I loved these two together, how Ross determinedly and sweetly pursued Darci, and how she falls into lust and trust and love with him. Lots of steamy moments (bathtubs, kitchen tables, fun times), some anti-hybrid natives causing a commotion, kitty squeezable cuteness, and just a tad of mystery. Short stories generally aren't my first choice because I find it difficult to get really invested in the characters in so short a time, but I quickly connected with Darci and Ross and enjoyed every minute of their journey to HEA.
