Once a player not always a player

I volunteered to be this ARC for an honest review. I honestly really enjoyed the story had great chemistry and lot of fun characters. Elise is a young woman who moves back to her hometown in the Minneapolis area due to her father being sick with colon cancer. She ends up going out to dinner with friends from college, and finds out that she is been paired up with Luke Long. Luke is a player, and knows he's hot. After everyone else leaves Luke and Elise play pool. Things heat up between the two of them. Elise wakes up the next morning not knowing where she's at what it happened. Until she sees Luke and laying next door. Neither one of them are ready to admit the feelings between the other. They have mutual friends who told them not to hurt the other. So now they're ready to risk their hearts. The characters story develops very well, with lots of ups and downs. Even the sub characters play an important role in the story. Definitely recommend reading the story so you can find out why Elise acts the way she does and how she is afraid for what will happen with her and Luke. I really liked the end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Thoughtful, fun and sexy

The duo that is R.L. Kenderson did an amazing job with creating believable characters and an engrossing plot. I loved how Elise and Luke's relationship grew. I thought the secondary characters brought additional levels of realism to the story and am anxious to read how Rachel and Sean got to their HEA. Elise and Luke's road to their HEA was a little bumpy but so satisfying for this reader. I received an advance reader copy from Booksprout.

    good

Dirty is a love story between Elise and Luke former College friends. Elise comes back in her hometown because family problems and being home means meeting all friends. In this group of old friends is also a man-player Luke. After a few drinks, they end up together in bed and so their hot steamy relationship secret start. I really loved how unpredictable was the story, I liked how author deceives us at the start at representing Luke. Because he turns out to be a really good person, caring responsible loving and in right state of mind. Elise is interesting character doesn't know yet what she wants from men, relationship or in real life. But she has a good sister and friend who help her out. Really good story not just about two people having sex but a story with family drama and finding the one in person you didn't expect to. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

    Hot & sexy romance

When the thing you promised you wouldn't do is the thing you end up doing, there are two options: 1) Deny, deny & never do it again, OR 2) Do it again, and again, and again until you think the temptation would go away. Elise takes option two, but soon realises that she may never get her fill of Luke. Not only is no longer the player she knew in college, but he's quickly become *gasp* boyfriend material. In-between dealing with her friends and her family, Elise must now decide if she and Luke are to remain each other's dirty secret. For the most part I enjoyed this hot & sexy romance book. The banter and chemistry between Luke & Elise was naturally cultivated and crafted. I know that there are some parents who are quite horrible, but I felt that the religious aspect was a bit overdone. However, I still recommend this as a good book to read. The group of friends are a totally cool bunch I could see myself hanging out with. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
