Dirty Sexy Player by Laurelin Paige is a hot and fun romance. For Weston King the allure and thrill of being a player with a different woman every night is starting to wear thin. When his business partner, Donovan comes up with the idea to boost their business by marrying the competition. Elizabeth Dyson, the competition who they are looking at, is the heir to her family's fortune, or she will be if there is anything left of it. She only gets control of it at 29, which is 4 years away, or if she gets married. In the mean time those in control of the company seems hell bent on making sure nothing is left for her to claim. Both Elizabeth and Weston are getting what they want in this media dynasty relationship. All they have to do is fake it until they make it. It's not long until they begin to question what exactly "making it" means to them. Battles turn to passion and the temptation to make their fake relationship more physically real leads to more of a connection than they could ever have anticipated. These characters are no holds barred, crazy fun and hotness. Overall Dirty Sexy Player by Laurelin Paige was a lot of fun which I very much enjoyed and I really need the other half of this duet to see how it all ends. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

    Loved It!

*ARC Provided by the Author*** Well then. That cliffhanger sucked. More than a little. And, more than usual. I think. Elizabeth and Weston. For a couple of people who only were involved in a marriage of convenience, you guys really turned that into something real. And lasting. And a love that you can build a lifetime of moments with, as it is real. Communication, however, isn't working out for you all that well. You aren't on the same page in the romance, at the beginning or at the end of the cliffhanger. And, that, I think, is going to be what really causes you all the problems in the next book. Cliffhangers come in 2 types; the ones where external forces act against the happiness of the couple and ones where it is the couple themselves, internally, who cause the reason that the relationship seems destined to not make it into book 2. I am not going to tell you which one we have here, but I will say it is my favorite kind of cliffhanger. If that's even a thing. "Favorite cliffhanger" isn't the easiest phrase to write, I admit. Laurelin Paige likes to torture her readers. And, I am guessing if you ask her, she will admit it. And, torture us she does in this one. By the end of the book, you are so invested in this relationship and you want it to be so much more than a means to a business end, that you forget, just for a second, that these are 2 people willing to fake a marriage in order to achieve business results. And, that drive and determination doesn't just go away. Did I love this book? Of course I did. It's well written, sexy (sometimes scorchingly so) and about 2 people that you genuinely like. What is there not to like about this book? Well...there is that cliffhanger. But, Laurelin always delivers in her books, so cliffhanger or not, I know the book is going to be worth it. Some authors if you know the book is a duet, you find yourself tempted to wait until both parts are out so you can read them together. And, I get it...but, really, you can wait months KNOWING there are new words by Laurelin Paige that you haven't read? This isn't something I can do...and, cliffhanger or not, this book is worth reading the second you can get your hands on it!

    5 Swooning Stars!!

Weston is the happy and easy going man we loved reading about but never really had a chance to see inside his brain. Well, here we are and I was so thrilled to learn all about Weston in Dirty Sexy Player and figure out his secrets. I also could not wait to get to know Elizabeth, she seems like a rich spoiled girl, until you get a different view of her and really start to understand her. All is not as it may seem, trust me on that.... Get ready for a whole new wave of emotions to hit you. There is plenty of baggage these two have to work through as well as their own feelings of hatred towards each other as they become man and wife. Ms. Paige rocked the heck out of this story and I cannot wait to see what happens next! I need more Weston and Elizabeth like I need my next breathe of air. Thank you Ms. Paige for always kicking my butt and stirring up all of these emotions of love, sadness, hatred, anger and swooning!!! I have no doubt you will mend the pieces of my broken heart back together upon the release of Dirty Sexy Games! 5 swooning stars!

    Sexy Player Tames his Game!

I first loved the playful, yet charming, Weston King when I first met him in Dirty Filthy Rich Men (DFRM), the first book in the Dirty Duet. That series which is told from the heroine's POV, centered around Weston's business partner, Donovan Kincaid. Unlike other spin-off series which usually continue where the prior series leaves off, Dirty Sexy Player (DSP) actually runs a parallel timeline as DFRM, however this story is told from the dual POV of both Weston and our heroine, Elizabeth Dyson. In DSP, we gain insight into Weston's relationship with Sabrina, and we "hear" his thoughts and experience his reactions toward Donovan's manipulations.surrounding the "arranged" marriage/business deal. To ensure the engagement looks real, Weston really has to make some personal sacrifices he struggles to deal with, which makes the push and pull dynamic between Weston and Elizabeth's relationship a fun one to watch. As broody as Donovan is, Weston is more happy go lucky, but he reminds us that he's also a smart business person when he offers to tutor Elizabeth on how to run a successful business. He shares glimpses of a fractured relationship with his parents, though we don't know the full details yet, and he has not shared them with Elizabeth either. I loved and hated the ending since it was unexpected, but I have faith that Ms. Paige will give us a satisfying conclusion in the next book!

I am Laurelin Paige's fan from sometime now. I like her clear style, the characters she creates with some coherence and how she develops a subject. I'm already reading the next ebook from this serie. I recommend
