    Thanks for your feedback!

    Self destructive tosh.

An utter waste of your time and money, unless you are a total masochist. This book advocates coping the abuse "with understanding." Continuing the abusive relationship you are probably in desperate need to get out of, if you are searching for solutions here. This book is not a solution. Getting out, or distancing yourself from, the abusive relationship and rebuilding your self esteem is. You will not find that here, this book advocates you changing to suit the narcissist, maintaining and exaggerating further the one sided relationship you are already in. (You can be assured he, or she, will not change the cancerous habits of a lifetime, on the contrary, according to most professional opinions, will probably get worse as they get older). This book would take you on a foolish and self destructive path, leading to more misery and playing right into the narcissist's hands. Move on and get help in doing so.
