    ok read

Sigh....I was so looking forward to this one so perhaps my expectations were too high. Unfortunately this one was a bit of a let down after the first two books in the series. I really liked the characters of Dom and Daisey and if it was just a romance between these two I would have loved it. Dom's job doesn't allow that however. He's working undercover and his bad guy persona just doesn't let that possibility work. I just wish his leaving was handled differently. The writing is good and as I said the characters are great. The story however seemed drawn out. All the excitement of the story was packed into the ending. Overall just an ok read for me.

    Action Packed

Flower shop owner Daisy Fowler has got her biggest and best contract yet. A huge prestigious hotel has had a major refit, and Daisy is doing all the floral arrangements for the opening. Detective Dominick Carew is setting himself up for a dangerous under cover job. He didn't realize how badly he would feel to make himself "disavowed " . For a committed soldier turned cop to be thought of as a bad guy hurts. Our main characters have a previous connection. One that has wounded our heroine because our hero is scared of his feelings. Our heroine has wanted nothing more than a loving family since she was a child. Abandonment is a major issue for her. An action packed romantic suspense that is part if a series, but easily read as a stand alone. Lots of danger and emotion. A story that pulls you in from the first page. I thoroughly enjoyed every page.

    Great Read

'Disavowed' by Tee O'Fallon is the story of Dom Carew and Daisy Fowler. Dom is a detective who lives and breaths his job. Dom lost a women he loved in Afghanistan several years ago and never got over it. Dom has harden his heart to getting involved with a women again. But Daisy is someone that he is having a hard time fighting his feelings for. About a year ago he gave in to his desire for her and had a one night stand with her and left in the night without a word to her. But now a year later they both tried to avoid each other but their best friends are marring each other and they thrown back together for a short period of time. In addition to being a second chance at love story it was also a exciting drama filled read. "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

    Chasing Pyramid

The character building in this book is so stunning that it was easy to believe in their story and in their situation.. Sitting on the edge of my seat while reading about Dom's past, their first passing in the night so to speak, their loss of one another and the winding way back to each other gave me serious reader anxiety. I liked Daisy and couldn't wait for the two of them to get together and make a go of it. The story did have other aspects that make it likable, Dom's career and his mission to make things right added to my feelings of love for this book. Thanks to Net Galley for a copy of this book
