  • Fun and Mayhem

Enjoyed the first book in the InCryptid series. I bought the ebook after reading the author's October Daye series and I'm happy I did. Interesting characters, adventure, a pinch of mayhem, and a decent story line.

  • InCryptid book 1

Wow! A rocking and rolling laugh out loud adventure, with characters you wish you knew in real life! I can't wait to continue the series. Highly recommended for those who like humor and things that go bump in the night.

  • Discounted armageddon

Good read. Enjoyed the various characters. Especially the main character. Looking forward to more if the same in the series...

  • Great start to a series

I loved the different cryptids McGuire put into this book and its introduction of the Price family. Great urban fantasy set in New York with a part time waitress, part time professional ballroom dancer forced to check things out when cryptids start going missing.

  • Must love Ballroom Dancing (but not really)

Incredibly well written, with interesting mix-ups and real life concerns. Funny, smart, slightly irreverent... ballroom dancing while protecting the monsters from the monsters, because sometimes you're related to the monster, or you're renting a sublet from a sasquatch. A bit like 'Men in Black', except much cooler, with religious mice in an apartment instead of a locker.

    Thanks for your feedback!
