    Thanks for your feedback!

    That's one seriously noir mystery

Calling this a dark mystery is understating the case. Noir mysteries don't come much darker than this. It's the story of a man who has lost everything in life including his moorings. This is a good solid read but you may find it a bit difficult at first. That's because the narrator is a hopeless, psychotic, drug addicted killer who has lost any sense of who he is or was. Some of the narrative takes place in his mind which takes some sorting out but that puts you in the same spot as the narrator. While this sounds awfully bleak (and it is), Richard Thomas makes it into a fascinating if twisted story that will hold your attention to the final sentence. If you're a fan of noir mysteries this book will challenge your notion of just how dark a mystery can be.
