    Enchanted Book Nook Review

I got the chance to read this book for free, in exchange for my honest opinion, through Blogging For Books. My Review: In this tie-in to the Doctor Who series, Clara and the Doctor find themselves in the quaint little village of Wiltshire. But it is not all it seems to be (I mean, is it ever in Doctor Who?) Wiltshire seems to be infested with huge bugs of the alien kind. With the village cut off from the rest of the world, the insects becoming more dangerous by the minute, and the looming chance of an airstrike by the British Army. It’s up to the Doctor and Clara to once again the save the day. I loved this book! I’m a Whovian and will always be, but the one thing I hadn’t experienced in the fandom was novel tie-ins. When I got the chance to read this for free, I figured why not, I’m only out my time if it ends up not being very good. But of course, it was fantastic! I this is the perfect book for any Doctor Who fan young and old,if you’ve been a fan for years or are new to the series. The characters are written perfectly, Mike Tucker has 12 and Clara down (something I was worried about since we only just ended our season with 12). This has definitely opened the door for my interest in Doctor Who tie-in novels, and also those written by Mike Tucker. Positive Elements: 12 lets his ‘dad skills’ take over when attempting to rescue Clara. Negative Elements: T0. Hell and damn were used in the book, but that’s nothing you haven’t heard on the show. Spiritual Elements: God’s name is misused throughout the book, and God-d*** is used once. Other Thoughts: This was just a great book all around and one that I can read again and again when I’m having Doctor Who withdrawals.
