  • Those eyelashes...

I can't pick just one thing that really worked for me when it came to Doin' a Dime, but I know that I ended up feeling that this story was utter perfection! Hunt McJimpsey was the perfect combination of alpha, sexy, nerdy, compassionate man. Wyett Villin was his soulmate in every sense. She had a huge heart. She was a survivor. She was sweet and beautiful. And their chemistry was intense. Hunt may have been a felon, but in my opinion, at least when it comes to fictional males (can't be saying this and be a representative of the criminal justice system), he went to prison for all of the right reasons. A hacker extraordinaire, he was one of the good guys. Now that he works for Lynn, he's even more so. Again, I fell in love with LLV's words and without giving away the plot, I hope I've convinced you to fall in love with these characters too. If you love love, romance and all the feels, this story is definitely the one for you!

  • Hunt and Wyett are hilarious!

I thought I knew what I was getting from this book, after reading the blurb. I mean, strangers to lovers, arranged marriage, we've all read it before, right? Wrong!!!!! Don't get me wrong, it's in there, but this book is so much more than that! This author took a subgenre that we have all read to death, and put her own spin on it! I should have known not to expect the same old, same old from her, but she continues to surprise me! Wyett has a horrific family life. And she just wants what is hers, but she can't have it. Circumstances beyond her control are steering her life, and she has to do something to take that control back! When a solution just a little out of the ordinary, a little different, presents itself, she takes it, even though she really doesn't know what she is getting herself into! Hunt isn't your typical criminal. But he is going to prison, and has just a little bit of time to get his affairs in order. And he knows exactly what he has to do. Hunt isn't exactly what I expected! I thought we were getting a sexy nerd, but he is so much more than that. He is exactly what Wyett needs, right when she needs it. And on the flip side, Wyett is perfect for Hunt, too. These two were an absolute riot of emotions, and absolutely hilarious! I could not read their story fast enough, because I knew each new page was going to have me laughing even harder! I am loving the Souls Chapel Revenants MC!

  • Great!

Loved! Loved the angle the author took with this story and Wyett was just the sweetest. The story has humor and exactly what you expect from a Lani Lynn Vale story and Hunt is just the sexy nerd we all want. But there is some danger, suspense, and sweetness to keep you reading until the end.

  • Steamy!

While Doin’ a Dime was lighter on action, it more than made up for it with sizzle because this one was super hot! Who knew Hunt had such a bad boy side? The quiet hacker of the group might get his hands dirty in a different way, but he’s definitely not someone to mess with. With a few keystrokes, he can wreck your life. Good thing Wyett has him in her corner. If anyone needs a knight in shining armor, it’s her. For fans of geeky guys who get the girl, Doin’ a Dime is a must read! There’s plenty of heat between Hunt and Wyett, just enough intrigue to keep you hooked, and lots of moments that will make you want a Hunt of your very own. Wyett is a strong woman who likes to handle things on her own, but she understands Hunt’s need to take care of her. These two were so sweet together! They were perfectly matched in every way. Two thumbs up! Five stars! Ms. Vale knocked this one out of the park... *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Reviewed at Books+Coffee=Happiness book blog.

  • Wyett and Hunt - Favourite in the series

Lani Lynn Vale has delivered another gripping romance with her latest release Doin’ a Dime. This is book 4 is the Souls Chapel Revenants MC series but can be read as a standalone. This is my favourite book so far from this series. I loved reading Hunt and Wyett’s story. Hunt is the resident computer hacker of the Souls Chapel Revenants and was sentenced to ten years in prison for a unique crime. Before he went to prison he managed to bump into Wyett on the street and knew that she was for him. He put an ad in the local newspaper that was specifically targeted to get Wyett’s attention and the rest is history. Hunt is mysterious but still managed to get me to laugh throughout the book as well as Wyett. I always love Lani’s heroines as they all are feisty and Wyett is definitely feisty. Even though her and Hunt’s story started out completely backwards it still had a fantastic ending. Can’t wait to read more from this series!!
