  • Synopsis is incorrect

I just read this book and really liked it but the description of this book is incorrect. The main character is not Maggie Sullivan. The two main characters in the book I read were Kate and Joe. Like I said, I really enjoyed "Don't Dare a Dame" but the synopsis should reflect the actual book.

  • Fabulous entertainment

Didn't feel rushed until the very end, and ended well. The main characters are decently nuanced, and the plot is fresh and well developed.

  • Another great noir

M.Ruth Myers delivers a top notch noir thriller where Maggie gets tailed, beat up, gassed but still manages to crack a murder case past and present and even Heebs gets a look in. Also is Maggie finally thawing to Connolly's advances.... you will have to read on to find out in this brilliantly orchestrated Maggie Mystery.
