    New Lori Foster! YES!!!

I do so love Lori Foster! In her new duology, the first book Don't Tempt Me tells the stories of Jason and Honor, as well as Sullivan and Lexie, who live in a small town in Ohio. You can read the blurb to get the rundown, but the basic themes in this heartfelt book are Honor wanting to go it alone, Jason wanting to lend a hand to his neighbor, and Sullivan and Lexie not giving each other enough credit. The heat level was perfect, the heart level was spot on, and with Ms. Foster's brilliant storytelling, you get a wonderful contemporary romance that you cannot put down. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the duet to get more of the neighborhood hotties' stories.

    Sweet, easy read!

This book is an easy and fast read and a sweet, contemporary romance. It follows two different couples, Honor and Jason, and Lexie and Sullivan. I didn't mind that, but I did feel that the telling of Lexie and Sullivan's relationship started off strong, but then was kind of forgotten. We weren't privy to all the details of their relationship. The book focuses more on Honor and Jason. And while I enjoyed the romance between Honor and Jason, I found some of the dialogue and conversations a little unbelievable. But overall, I did enjoy the book and the underlying messages. I also loved the secondary characters, especially Hogan and Colt.

    Lori Foster does it again!

Don’t Tempt Me by Lori Foster Lori Foster really knows how to make fans swoon, whether her heroes are mixed martial arts stars, cops, PIs or amazing brothers she never lets us down. And now with the debut of her brand new Guthrie brothers series she does it again and she’s giving readers two HEAs in one read! Don’t Tempt Me is a fast paced thrill ride that includes drama, suspense and plenty of breath stealing heat between the sheets. Her couple, the secret keeping, wall erecting, wary heroine and open book hero, are complex, realistic and relatable to readers. Her dialogue is sweet and sassy and fits every character to a tee and using urban renewal as her neighborhood setting is brilliant. But its definitely the chemistry between her duo and really all her characters that makes this yet another Foster shelf keeper! Honor Brown is ready to turn a new page in her life, she just bought her first home. Yes it’s in an area of Clearbrook Ohio that’s in transition thanks to renewal of the neighborhood and she’s never done any kind of rehab work before, but she’s strong and she’s up for the challenge. She’s not one to ask for help, just ask her best friend Lexie, so when her new hunky neighbor showers her with offers of assistance she doesn’t want to take him up on it but it's a lost cause just like denying she’s not tempted to give into her desire for him. Jason Guthrie was happily living in the home he grew up in, helping out his brother and nephew in their time of need, doing odd building jobs for all his friends and neighbors and doesn't need some beautiful, available, desirable, woman moving in next door and pulling on all his protective and carnal strings. Yeah he doesn’t need her tempting him but he’s got it anyway, so he might as well go for it! Lexi Perkins is determined to be there for her best friend Honor any way she can but when Honor’s hunky Martial Arts instructor neighbor catches her eye she decides to multi-task. Sullivan Dean knows how to spot trouble and his new neighbor’s bestie is trouble with a capital T. Yes she’s hot and sexy but she’s also not his type. Is she?

    4,5***

In this delightful, joy-filled story you get to know the neighborhood hotties and the best friends Honor and Lexie. I enjoyed both of the couples, all the characters were presented in depth and were the kind of people you would love to spend time with. I wish Lexie and Sullivan could have gotten a little bit more screen time. A lot of their relationship was developed outside the pages, and I would have loved to hear more of Sullivan's change of heart. Honor is such a complex person. Her life got a rotten start, but how she has overcome it all, and built her her own destiny, was nothing but admirable. Jason is dreamy, he is patience, caring, protective, helpful, gives Honor space and independence she graves, yet is supportive and accommodating when that is needed. I loved these two together, the sweetness, tenderness, sexiness, all just pouring out of the pages, the humor, fun, and the tragedy and drama that is Honor's family, they were able to face it all together as a team. This is a captivating and charming story, I could feel the lightness and rightness of life as Honor and Jason are together. The loss and drama balance the tale nicely, giving it more juicy bits, as well as the danger that is lurking in the neighborhood. The friends and neighbors stole my heart, this is definitely a series I want to keep an eye on ~ Four Spoons and teaspoon on the side

Those Guthrie Boys are one of a kind!

This book left me with such a warm fuzzy feeling! The Guthrie brother's are one of a kind… friendly caring, honest, funny, protective. They've got it all. Jason was very accepting of Honor right from the start. At times she felt a little naive to me, but at the same time she had her life focused elsewhere for so long. Which. for me explained it. Honor had a lot of personal stuff to work through. The fact that Jason knows and accepts that he loves Honor early on in the story and is waiting and hoping for her to feel it back for him, is a nice change from reading the reverse. Usually I find this scenario happens most with the woman waiting and hoping. And OMG! All that flirty tension was killing me!!!! Loved it! Lori Foster always writes fantastic chemistry! The secondary story with Lexie and Sullivan was a great added bonus! Hogan cracked me up often, but I have to say though..Colt.. He's my favourite character. I really hope he gets himself a good story! Can't wait for the next book. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review* This book is due for release: July 26th, 2016
