    Good 👍story

The interaction and chemistry between the characters of Any and Doryan is amazing. The storyline is entertaining and filled with action and intrigue. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

    Great addition to the series

This is another great addition to the series. There’s plenty of action drama suspense twists and turns and romance. Definitely a page turner. The chemistry between the characters is well developed. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

    Doryan by Kate Rudolph.

I was captured from the first page. The story is about Doryan and Amy. Doryan is a soulless warrior having chosen to sacrifice his ability to feel emotion in exchange for a longer life due to not finding his mate prior to his turning 30. Amy is a private detective. They meet at a resort. After all this time and against all odds Doryan has found his Denya Amy. Then the fun began. What an adventure you took me on. I loved this book. Kate I have read most of the books you have written and enjoyed them all and this book is no exception. You won't be disappointed if you buy this book. I am part of Kate Rudolph review team and receive nothing for writing this review.

    Cool ideas, entertaining alien romance!

Entertaining alien romance. I’ve only read Soulless by this author, but I still got what is going on in this book. There are a lot of past characters in this book though and some scenarios that may be better understood with a full backstory, so you may want to start at the beginning book for this alien world. This book takes place on Earth. The aliens, aka Detyens, are out in the open, but aren’t quite accepted by all. Lead male character, Doryan, is an alien that gave away his soul to live longer; aliens die at 30 if they don’t find their mate, so without their soul they live longer. Without their soul the aliens are emotionless, Doryan is sort of like a soldier for the Legion (Seems like an alien version of the government and military combined) and are “retired” when they start exhibiting odd behavior. Doryan meets private investigator, Amy, when she goes to some alien sanctuary. He feels a connection with her and she with him, but the Soulless aren’t supposed to find mates. So, Doryan and Amy are dealing with the whole mates thing and Legion looking into Doryan’s actions when a murder happens, so they have many things they are dealing with. I liked both characters, and they have a sweet and passionate connection. Doryan is a little bland for me, but I suppose that may have something to do with being Soulless. I appreciated that Amy was so accepting of the whole mates thing in the beginning, but then she started to waver some, so I didn’t appreciate that. It was also weird that after being sort of trapped alone for over a week, she still didn’t know very much about Doryan; it would’ve been nice if they actually used that time to grow closer. I enjoyed the story for the most part, but some things didn’t feel fully realized. The murder plot fizzled; I wanted so much more from that. Also, the end felt too abrupt. I’m still going with a 4 rating though because this is still a pretty good alien romance. It kept me entertained.

    Fantastic book in this series

I have become addicted to this series, I love it. I especially like that each characters book is a standalone so you can dip in and out of it, I've read quite a few of the books but certainly not them all. This had a fantastic, enjoyable storyline which draw me in. It was well written, light and easy to read, a good length, had great characters and a little bit of light suspense. What's not to love if you like these kind of books.
