    Double Dog Dare

Oh my! The feels in this one are over the top and every page better than the one before. Darcy is the last of the Kilcannon clan and on her 30th birthday she has a surprise for her dad and the rest of the family...she is moving out and starting her own business in town. Independence is what she wants, not to be set up by the Dogfather. Nope, that is not in her future, she will not stand for it. Josh Ranier is renovating apartments and looking for a tenant and since there is still construction going on he has a no pets clause. Yeah, right. Where Darcy goes, so does Kookie. Well, one look at Josh and Darcy is sure the Dogfather has set her up but since Josh is recently out of a relationship and not looking for another, these two come to an understanding when his ex shows up with her dog who has gone blind needing help. Now, since Josh has a dog, he cannot keep Darcy from having one. These two work together so well as friends with dogs they soon don't realize when lines are crossed or don't care. Families such as the Kilcannon family have a way of pulling you in and Josh was ripe for the pulling but when he took Darcy home to his she managed to fit in there and helped to mend some rips there too. It is hard to believe we have come to the end of the Kilcannon kids and the Dogfather set them all up, or at least he did the most of them, he maintains he didn't this one and maybe Annie had something to do with it (I think so too). I highly recommend this one and this could be read as a standalone, as all of this series could, but really why would you want to because each is so spectacularly told and each story is so special. **Received this ARC for review**

    Fantastic

Is Daniel "the Dogfather" Kilcannon up to his matchmaking tricks again or has fate steered Darcy straight to Joshua Ranier? After watching her siblings fall one after the other Darcy is on to her father's ways. She has no problem with love and marriage. Just not for her. Not now at least. She wants to experience her new found independence and spread her wings. Joshua is new to Bitter Bark and fresh off a bad breakup. The last thing he wants is anything that smells like a relationship. Sometimes though they brain might say one thing but the heart wants another. These two dog loving people may just find exactly what they weren't looking for. As with all her books, Roxanne St. Claire has delivered a story that is fun, emotional, well written with some very intriguing characters. Don't miss this one as the last of the Kilcannon clan finds their HEA. I highly recommend it.

Double Dog Dare by Roxanne St. Claire

I really enjoyed the book, it had you from the opening pages right up until the end, in fact I didn't want it to end! Story about the youngest member of the Kilcannon family - Darcy and Josh, who doesn't want to get involved with her. It was captivating and there were many twists and turns around the corners. Loved following along and seeing how Josh got pulled into the mix. I was given the book early to review, and would certainly recommend this book. Looking forward to the next one.

    I love the Kilcannon family.

I am so glad this isn't the last story in this series. Each book makes me fall more in love with the Kilcannon family. Darcy is the youngest and she sees all her siblings getting their happy ever after and all she can think of is her own freedom. She wants to live on her own and doesn't want anyone to tie her down. Her dad isn't really ready to let her go, but he knows she has to stand on her own two feet. She moves into a building that says she can't have her dog. Must be a grumpy old landlord. Josh is far from a grumpy old landlord. He is a big, sexy man and she is going to have a hard time staying away from him. Josh loves dogs, but there is going to be some construction going on and he can't have a pet running around because they might get hurt. He is a by the rules kind of person. Darcy isn't. When Josh's ex shows up with her little, blind dog and needs Josh to take care of her for a while, he can't turn little Stella away. And then he has to allow Darcy to have her dog. Josh was very hurt by his ex and he doesn't want to get tangled up with anyone ever, but he sure has a hard time resisting Darcy. She just might change his mind about a lot of things.

Two dogs are better than one!

Darcy Kilcannon is the last of Daniel "The Dogfather" Kilcannon's kids whom he hasn't helped find her true love yet. Part of Daniel is reluctant because she is his baby girl and is he really ready for an empty nest? On Darcy's 30th birthday party she informs her dad that she wants to move out on her own and start up her own dog grooming business. She even has already leased a place. While her dad is a little weary, he agrees and helps her find a place to live. Imagine when Darcy shows up at the brownstone she is moving into to find out the owner is a hunky, sexy, hot guy.....hmm.....dad is up to his old games! Darcy is even more shocked to see that dogs are not allowed in the building!!!! So what does she do, she sneaks Kookie into her new apartment! Of course, Joshua "Hot Landlord" Ranier sees what is going on and that is where the fun begins. Josh is trying to run from his old life. He has also sworn off woman after the number his last girlfriend played on him. Too bad, because his new tenant has really caught his attention. When Josh ends up with a blind dog that he is now trying to hide, Darcy comes to the rescue. As these two spend more time together, they both start realizing that maybe being independent isn't so important anymore. I just adored these two. Neither of them were looking for a relationship, but sometimes that isn't the way things work out. These two fell fast and hard and it really scared both of them. Even though Josh is a rule follower and Darcy isn't, they meshed well together and it was fun watching them fall in love! Great addition to this series and I loved all the hints of women for Daniel! I can't wait to see who the lovely lady is going to be!
