    No choice

Abigail works for two amazing men. Who just happen to be twins. The even more amazing part? They want her. Grayson and Remington are the hottest twins on the planet. They are into a lifestyle that many are not privvy to. Now they want Abigail. Can there be sharing? This is a short and sweet story with more heat in it than a fireplace. The best part about this book was the lead female did not take anything from anyone and it was wonderful to see! A really good read, and small enough to enjoy in a simple shot. ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

    Must Read!

Don’t let the title fool you, Double Down & Dirty: A Doms of The Covenant is not your typical short story. While this is not as long as a typical work by Samantha A. Cole, the plot and characters are just as well developed as in her longer novels. Grayson and Remington Mann, fraternal twins, Dominants in the BDSM lifestyle and CEOs of a record company enjoy sharing more than just their birthday. However, they have yet to find that one woman who can capture both of their hearts. All of that changes when sweet Abby Turner is hired as their personal secretary. While the twins make a pact to keep her off limits, Abby unknowingly sets their world off kilter when they discover she is not quite as innocent as she first appears. Samantha A. Cole did a great job of developing likeable characters who love a bit of naughty in their lives. Gray and Remi must put their art of seduction to the test to see if they can win Abby’s heart and convince her that a non-traditional menage relationship with them is just what she needs to make her life complete. Throw in a trip to Vegas, a nasty and vindictive ex-girlfriend, a bit of holiday fun at the Covenant and lots of dirty talk and good old romance and you get a fun and exciting read! If you are a fan of The Trident Security series, this is a must-read addition! If you are new to Samantha A. Cole, you can definitely enjoy Double Down and Dirty as a standalone even though characters from the Trident series are mentioned. Get Double Down and Dirty today and see if Abby and the Mann twins get their happy ever after! 5 stars

    Turning tropes on their head

Remi and Gray Mann are fraternal twins who run a successful record label. They are rich, handsome men who also happen to be Dominants and like to share the same woman. Abigail is their secretary, and as such, is off limits, no matter how attractive they find her. But when circumstance reveals that Abby is as attracted to the two of them as they are to her, they're willing to take a risk and see if she'd be open to not only dating them but also their life style. I admit that I wasn't sure what to expect from a menage involving two brothers - usually twin fantasies involve females - but I enjoyed how Ms. Cole turned that convention on its head. Gray and Remi were fun characters and I enjoyed reading their seduction of Abby. Abby, for her part, continually surprised me and watching her slowly accept that the twins were interested in her was a pleasure. While Abby is submissive, she is not a pushover and this is clearly demonstrated in the last chapter of the novella. The BDSM aspects were well-researched; indeed, the sex, while well-written, was not nearly as plentiful as one might expect. Ms. Cole is clearly more interested in developing relationships between her characters than simply writing one sex scene after another, something I can certainly applaud. While I enjoyed this quite a bit, I did have two somewhat minor complaints. The way in which the brothers discover that Abby is interested in them seems out of character for Abby. She is described as a professional and her actions belie that. Second, there were definitely times that the brothers could have communicated what they wanted to Abby better than they did. These are two minor quibbles however, and I greatly enjoyed reading this novella. I look forward to reading the other books in this series.
