    Joanne Fluke never fails

Another wonderful mystery, and will our favorite cookie queen finally find love. It is looking like Hannah might finally get her man and not just this books killer.

    Going Downhill Fast

I used to look forward to each new title, but it became obvious a few books ago that the whole series is failing fast. The entire "plot" of this recent offering is no more than an introduction to each recipe. I believe Fluke is writing merely to fulfill her contract, but has lost her mojo. I feel as if I've lost an old friend.

    Delightful

This episode of the Hannah series was full of surprises. I really enjoyed the storey and almost forgot about the murder with so much going on in Hannah's life. Ready to enjoy the next murder.

    What a boring, insipid novel.

The mystery is non- existent. It makes Scooby-Doo look thoughtful. Half of the novel is made up of recipes; another 45% is a 5th rate romance that I don't think even Harlequin would have published. The stilted characters make cardboard cut-outs seem lively but the funniest part is that the reader is supposed to suspend her disbelief enough to think that this boring, insipid nonentity has a choice of 3 men. Save your money and read the side of a cereal box, it will be far more interesting and life-like.
