  • A Love Triangle

Randi Alexander, ‘Double her Desire’. Double Seduction Series, Book 5. As an Hidden Gems ARC reader I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily wrote an honest review. Here it is. Rating: 3,5 (of 5 stars). In general: A Love Triangle. Main characters: - Quinn Anders (30). Well known author of thrillers. Single, after a bad divorce. - Zeke Hazard (29). Famous country singer. - Jeff Hazard (31). Zeke’s cousin and head of his security. Quinn meets Zeke in the elevator of their hotel when she’s going to a book signing session in LA. He’s there because of his concert tour. Quinn helps him to escape from a crowd of fans in the hotel he doesn’t want to meet without his security. As a ‘thank you’ he invites her to attend his concert as a VIP guest. Escorted by Jeff she accepts his invitation. Quinn admired the country singer since she was a teen and now she’s attracted to both cousins. Zeke and Jeff have a history of sharing their girlfriends, so the development of their relationship is predictable. Two of the three main characters are famous and therefore target of paparazzi. That causes complications ending with a minor cliffhanger. This reader doesn’t like cliffhangers so - after reading an enjoyable love story - I closed the book a bit disappointed.
