    Another Fantastic Dragon King Novel!

Dragon Kings V and Roman are on a quest to find V's stolen sword. Due to V's amnesia of the incident, they travel to V's territory hoping to find clues when they arrive. The duo meets Camlo and Sabina while on their search. V and Roman discover that the brother and sister, who are descendants of the clan V protected, have information relating to V's curse and his lost weapon. V and Camlo work together to uncover V's memories, while Roman and Sabina, the couple of the story, descend inside a mountain for V's sword. The path to retrieve the Dragon King sword was tense, and fast paced. At the climax of the story, I was bouncing in my seat. Roman's clever Dragon power lends to his artistic tendencies. Sabina's creativity, although different in expression than Roman's, gives the couple a common interest. Roman's dominance induces fantastic desire during their intimacies. The spark between the pair is potent, which is a common thing with Donna Grant novels. I make it no secret that I am a huge fan of the Dark World series. The subplots continue to grab my attention. At this point, the recurring characters are as much of a focus for me as the main couples are. Dragonfire is the first novel since Ulrik's redemption. He played a minor, but crucial, part here. I believe his presence will be game-changing, especially for Con. I see Con reaching his breaking point, and that could be a very good, or a very bad thing. Every Dark King book is a comfort, and a curse, all rolled into one. There is an overwhelming sense that resolution is just around the corner, and I am eager for the good versus evil showdown. But at the same time, I do not want them to end. Dragonfire by Donna Grant was given to me by Saint Martin's Press, through NetGalley, for my honest opinion.

    Very Exciting

Sabina is from a long line of gypsy women with the "sight". Her grandmother passed on to her a very important story about her ancestors and men that can take the form of a dragon. She now lives with just her brother who is a very special man. Dragon king Roman is determined to make sure that this his fellow Dragon king "V" will find the sword that was stolen from him many, many years ago. Without it he can literally lose his mind. Unfortunately there are magic forces working against them. This is part of a series that is better read in order because of the complicated back story, but you could read it on it's own. Our characters all have strong personalities that you will immediately fall in love with. The most unlikely one plays a very important role. There is a lot of magical danger from unknown sources and some great excitement. I loved it.

    Dragons OH YEAH

Science Fiction and Donna Grant is a perfect match. She writes amazing stories of which Dragonfire is the 14th in the Dark Kings series. Lots of amazing couples have fallen in love on her pages. That is the only down side is keeping them all straight. But I love the dragon tales the best! King Roman is on a mission to find a stolen sword and stumbles onto a gypsy and her brother. Lots of unique ideas in this one. Pick up Dragonfire and soar in the sky with it. "A copy of this book was provided by St. Martin's Press via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

    One Step Closer

I found the heroine and her brother extremely fascinating in Dragonfire. So much so that when the author would change POV's with other Dragon Kings or Rhi, I was impatient to get back to them. Since I enjoy getting everyone's POV, that just speaks to how much I liked these two. My fascination stems from not only the gypsy background, but I also found both siblings abilities to be pretty cool, especially Camlo's. He uncovered a lot in this book that we didn't know yet. While we got a lot of answers, we also got more questions. However, I still feel like we are a step closer than we were. Rhi is concerning me and I want her to find happiness. It seems like she just keeps getting kicked down. I love her character and I really want to see her happy in the end. I'm nervous for her. I love that the Reapers are intermixing with this series and their own. You almost need to read both series as they all publish to stay up to date on everything that is going on. This isn't a hardship since I'm loving both series. ARC provided by NetGalley.

    Just magic!

5 AMAZING stars Review by Leah Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog< Dragonfire by Donna Grant is a suspenseful adventure with just enough romance, angst, and mystery all wrapped up in a pair of breathtaking dragons wings. The vivid details pull you into the story. I am in awe. This is just magic. Sabina and her younger brother Camlo are gypsy descendants. They each have a gift that they have hidden from the world. Sabina has been warned since childhood about the Dragon Kings wanting to take out her kind and because of this, she has kept a low profile. Until Vlad and Roman show up. Roman and Vlad are the two main Dragon Kings in this book and are just sinfully delicious. Vlad's flippant sense of humor had me laughing out loud several times and Roman, oh Roman, he will just melt your heart. These two are on a quest looking for Vlads sword that was stolen years ago and they stumble upon Camlo in the forest. Some reason there is a pull to Camlo and Sabina but they cannot figure out what or why. The first book I have read by Donita Paul and I am a FAN FOR LIFE! I just devoured Dragonfire and I wanted to cry!! I did not want it to end, THANK goodness this is a series and I am going to start from the beginning. I am just blown away, where has Donita Paul been all my life? I have been in the wrong cave! I completely geeked out with this book. You had me at Carpathian Mountains, Romania, Ms. Paul.
