    Freedom from the power of food over your life

    For years I have been looking for “the key” to stop dieting AND bingeing. I have read many books and read up on many websites, all sounding plausible. They all work for a while, but at times of stress and when I’m out of routine, they all fail. About 6 weeks ago I found your site. Everything I read made sense and started asking myself straight away, “Am I Hungry?”. I also did the survey. It was going well, and I ummed and ahhed whether i needed yet another book. I took the plunge and bought the ebook for bingeing. It made interesting and worthwhile reading. I am a pharmacist and know all about healthy eating. Your book and website have allowed me to put it all into action. I love eating healthily, but can now enjoy the odd treat without keeping it going and out of control. I have not had a single guilty pang. My husband and I went for a rare meal out. We had three courses and enjoyed every mouthful, but most importantly, without guilt. The next day I just ate according to my hunger. That’s what I do now. Today, someone who I haven’t seen in about 6 weeks told me that I have lost a lot of weight. I can only tell myself that I’ve lost weight, because of my clothes. I have given up weighing myself or obsessing about food, or keeping a log and counting calories. So thank you so much. I know there may well be lapses, but I know what to ask myself, “Am I Hungry?”.
