    Thanks for your feedback!

    Good story..but

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books. 4/5 (Good) *I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.* This was a great story idea that I did enjoy quite a bit. Just the idea of living in a society where you are monitored and told what you can and cannot do and the possibility of just “disappearing” for doing something wrong is frightening. That’s probably why the story line grabs my attention and kept me reading. The author did a great job adding details and descriptions throughout the story to make it easy to dive into if you close your eyes! My biggest complaint is this story doesn’t seem completely unique. There are quite a few similarities from this story to others that are more “well known.” Now, understand I am NOT saying that the author copied or plagiarized the work of any other author, because there are definitely parts that are unique to this story. It was the overall idea that seems too close to others so I find myself comparing the story lines in my head subconsciously. This is quite unfortunate and unfair to this author because she did do a good job putting the story together. However, I do find it important that you, a possible reader, should know that the storyline is similar to others out there. If I push the similarities to the side and just compare this story, I would say that she set up the story from the beginning to the end quite well. It was very descriptive and easy to follow and kept you guessing. There were some great suspenseful moments that left you on the edge of your seat. It will be interesting to see how the author choses to write the second story and how it is laid out. I enjoyed reading it and thought the book was interesting. I just wish it could have been more unique.
