    Thanks for your feedback!

If you love mysteries, then this book is for you.

I don't know how to write this review. Normally, I would say what this book is about, but everything in the book is a spoiler for something else in the book. I couldn't put down this book. Every time I thought I was seeing where it was going, another plot twist was thrown in . The last 7 chapters had me glued to my chair. I have never wanted a book to end, but not end so bad in my life. I am really hoping there is a followup book. There are still things I want to know the answer to.

    WILD AND TWISTS

This book is wild! I expected one thing going in but things turned out completely differently in the best way possible. The twists and turns and tension kept me on my toes until the very end, which I love. The characters were interesting, had depth and dimension, and although Fiona wasn't a typically likable character, she didn't need to be. She was different, a fighter, a champion, and strong in ways I haven't seen many YA heroins being. Miles was a piece of work but it was great to slowly see more and more of who he is and why he is the way he is. I actually teared up a few times and some stuff was just the cutest! Amazing book and I hope more people will read it. It deserves HYPE because I've never read a YA book like this before! (less)

    Perfect for Thriller Movie Fans

I went into this book with pretty high hopes. The synopsis was intriguing, the reviews were stellar... yet it fell flat for me. The author’s writing just did not work for me. I could tell from the first page that this story might not be for me, but I pushed forward because I wanted to give this book a chance. Sadly, I never connected with the characters or the plot. I wasn’t invested in the story at all which definitely doesn’t make an ideal reading experience. However, that does not necessarily mean that you will feel the same as me. This book has potential. It reads like a classic thriller movie. Honestly, it actually reminds me of a culmination of thriller movies I have seen. It’s full of twists, sketchy events, and sketchy people. Sadly, none of those elements were enough to save this book in my eyes. While this book may not have been for me, it may be a good book for you! By no means do I dislike this book, I am simply indifferent.

Reeds has managed to leave me speechless...

Echoes. Where do I begin? Alice Reeds has managed to leave me speechless with this unusually mysterious read. The book begins with Fiona and Miles, heading to an internship in Berlin. When their plane crashes on a deserted island, even though they were never friends at school, they find themselves having to rely on each other in order to try and find their way home. Paralleling this portion of the story, is a story of them arriving in Berlin. Why? How? When? That is what the entire book is about. Obscure and cryptic are the best ways I can describe this one. There was nothing straight forward and the entire book is written in a very arcane vein. You will not know what is going on until the very end, and guess what, you still won’t. It seems this must be the beginning of a series of books, or at least a second one is on the way, as it ended abruptly on a serious cliff hanger. Echoes had plenty of action, suspense, mystery, and even some romance. It was overall well written, well plotted and I enjoyed the main characters. It reminded me a bit of Dean Koontz’s Jane Hawk series, but for young adults. I enjoyed the confusing dance that occurred throughout, and I didn’t actually mind the abrupt ending, I just wish I had known going in that there would be more books to follow. I will hands down be reading the next book, hoping to find more answers to the unexplained chaos.
