  • They just keep getting better!

I didn’t think Ms. Loye could top her last offering in this series. Well, I admit it, I was wrong. In fact I am thrilled that I was wrong because this novel rocks. It is fast paced, tightly plotted and full of surprises. You will cheer for the central couple and want to hiss at the bad guys. It also has the strong potential to make you lose sleep to finish the story. I really don’t regret my staying up late. I just had to know how the HEA was going to be reached. This is another one for the keeper shelf. Enjoy it as much as I did!

  • Unconvincing

Having read the previous books in the series, I was disappointed with this one. The characterisation was unconvincing to me (genius scientist can't come up with any plans of her own until the last minute, ex-SAS soldier working as bodyguard neglecting his job to drool over someone he fancies). Also the whole plot would not actually work as there is currently no phone reception on the London tube. Felt like the author did not really like her own characters in this case.
