  • A fun, romantic read

The characters are genuine, full of spunk and Christmas cheer. You can't go wrong with this Christmas romance.

  • Good read

The holidays always add an unexpected twist. Entertaining characters to follow along in the story. Love a good romance when the characters are conflicted and have issues that they have to deal with. Like the small town locations because you always have people that are busy bodies and add a little bit of humor to each story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.

  • Info-Dumping Frustrating

When will authors learn that readers just dislike information dumps!? This one is slightly more artful than most, taking place in a discussion between the heroine and a stranger during a white-knuckle airplane ride, but still! It really drives me up a tree. A talented author can weave in necessary backstory, even in novellas or short stories. This one literally had me rolling my eyes as it progressed. It's as though authors just want to shovel all the backstory in at the front so they can get to the rest of the story as quickly as possible instead of weaving it in naturally and when needed. This frustrated me so much that I quickly DNFed the book.

    Thanks for your feedback!
