  • Elam: Dragon's Savior Book 3

**"And by the way, you can't have love if you don't have trust too. It's like saying you have pie when you go no crust. All you got is a bowl of fruit and nothing else. Not even prettying it up with some homemade ice-cream can make it a pie."** Elam and Casdon aren't looking to have a mate. They like living the single life and having their own space of piece and quiet. But the woman in white has changed everything for these two and now they must determine if they can trust in themselves and the feelings they fell for the beautiful woman. **"I hurt them. Yes, they did not trust me as they should, but I have given them no reason to do so. I have been tainted and they paid the price."** Ariannona has been given a special mission from the king and queen of dragons. She's lived her life carefully to not interfere where she's not needed. But when she delivers the message to the son she's shocked to discover that Casdon and Elam are her mates. **"Yes, being idle has gotten me into a bit of trouble over the years. And most of it was my own fault. I wasn't always this sweet and gentle with folks."** Even though things have happened fast, and the three discover there mating was pretty much a set up, Ariannona gives her all to protect the dragon and their mates. But will her mates doubt and lack of trust prevent them from moving forward?

  • things are starting to fall in place

'Elam' is the third book in Kathi S. Barton's "Dragon's Savior" series and the action just hasn't stopped. This book starts off with King Anthony and Queen Eve calling in a young witch and asking her to do them a favor. They needed her to deliver a message to one of their sons. She didn't know his name but knew what he would look like. Of course, Ariannona had a lot of questions but the best answer she could get was that once the promise was fulfilled she would be able to see her king and queen again. In Ariannona's mind, she interpreted that to mean she would die and meet them in the afterlife. Through a change in the original circumstances, the message was delivered two days late but things ultimately worked out, well, maybe not initially. Ariannona realizes she's been tricked into coming to be Elam and Casdon's mate plus, the king and queen she was going to be able to see were not King Anthony and Queen Eve but King Asher and Queen Essie. Even though Helenia is dead the group is still having to deal with the repercussions of her actions taking place long, long ago. This time it's a Hunter who comes from a long line of hunters and is determined to get him a dragon and a curse Ariannona that becomes deadly after all these years. The story is moving quickly and things are starting to fall in place …. Well, for the most part.
