    Different

This book is definitely different from anything I’ve read so far, and the published summary of it doesn’t do justice to the book at all. At first I was somewhat annoyed by Eleanor’s character, but as time and reading progressed I began to fall in love with her, to feel with her, to begin to see the world with different eyes and to not take everything for granted.

    Eleanor Oliphant Is Completly Fine

This is the first book I have read that was written by Gail Honeyman. I enjoyed her writing style, though I had to refer to my dictionary regularly. The characters came alive. It was a beautful love story and demonstrated what was right in the world. A story about survival with surprises.

    Charming

Halfway through this book I was unsure about it. Having finished it, I can now tell you how moving and charming this book is. By the end you are really rooting for Eleanor and want her to succeed. Great read if you feel your not great with people. Spoiler alert: just be yourself!

    Wonderful

Everyday characters but described so deftly that they all become full of intrigue. Eleanor's progress is a marvel to witness. It is a story so beautifully told I didn't want it to end.
