    Thanks for your feedback!

Amazing read, but have the tissues on standby.

This book was really good. I you will definitely want to have a box of tissues nearby. You will need them. I sobbed through about 20% of the book. To the point that I couldn't see the words on my kindle. This book really makes you think about death. It puts into perspective to love life to the fullest. Don't give up. Always do everything possible to make the best of what you have. Andi is a fun, take no crap, sarcastic, Russian beauty. She loved life and even though she knew she was dying she didn't let it bring her down. She wanted to make the best of her life. Sergio is the family ghost that we don't know a lot about. He is a brooding, angry man. He doesn't want anything to do with anyone who might make him feel. He wants to be left alone. But maybe what you want isn't always what you need. I loved the interaction between Sergio and Andi. The chemistry between them was palpable through the pages. You would think that they would kill each other with all the tension between them at first. Neither wanted to be thrown into their circumstances, but it ended up being what they both needed. Rachel has done it again. She has delivered another page turner that will leave you NEEDING more now. You won't want to put this book down, but when you get to the end you'll be gutted and wish you hadn't read it so fast so you had more to read.

Mad Love for Italy and Russia

Rachel Van Dyken does it again! I wish that Amazon has a 10* rating because that's what this book deserves! Elude is a raw, emotional, gut wrenching, breathtakingly beautiful tale of love and life. In book six of The Eagle Elite we finally meet the mysterious Sergio and the Russian Beauty Andi who teach us the values of living each day to the fullest! Sergio and Andi's epic tale will stay will you long after you are done reading it! I'm a huge fan of Rachel's work and this is by far one of the best books I have ever read and cannot wait for more from the Eagle Elite!

    Terrific and intense!

Wow I am not sure I can find the correct words to do justice to this unique and gut wrenching story! I haven't read this series before but after reading this one book you can be sure I will be reading books 1-5! I have out right laughed, snickered at their rudeness, gasped at their violence and blushed at the intimacy of these characters and couldn't stop reading till the last page!! This is a remarkable story with characters of strength and gentleness and heartbreak! Totally recommend this read!!

So good you won't believe what you're reading!

It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Rachel Van Dyken's Elite Series. Each book has gotten successively better and the action and twists have gotten bigger. I was looking really looking forward to enjoying Elude and seeing Sergio redeem himself as well as see what new antics the family was involved in now. This story is nothing like I was expecting and days later I'm still thinking about what I read. Andi and Sergio made a great couple. I loved seeing Andi tease Sergio. She was light to his dark. I loved her attitude. She has so much going on, yet she chose to always smile and enjoy the moment. Sergio on the other hand was wracked with guilt from past deeds and didn't feel like he deserved anything, let alone have a marriage he didn't want forced on him. I understood where both of them were coming from and it was a lot of fun seeing their different mindsets clash. I was surprised by how often I laughed while reading this book. This book was humorous no doubt, but also serious, and I appreciated the moments of levity. I wasn't surprised by the tears running unchecked down my face. I may have ugly cried. Okay, there is no "may", I did ugly cry. Even thinking about it now makes me want to cry. I think I experienced an entire range of emotions while reading this book. I loved seeing the "family" all together. In happiness and in need, the young heads of the crime families and their wives, many who've had their stories told in earlier book in the series, all came together and I loved seeing them happy. Along the way, new characters were introduced and some major plot twists happened that left me reeling. I know they left of people in the story shaken too. While I know I have more books to look forward to which will answer many of my unanswered questions, the story felt incomplete. While this is and isn't the type of story I've come to expect from this series, it does showcase Rachel's range in writing. I'm very eager to see how the Elite series continues from here.

    Famiglia

Elude has all the amazing character chemistry that I've come to expect from RVD's Eagle Elite Series. The members do kill, and sometimes bad things happen, but they are all true family. They argue, pick at each other and support one another. Often they have troubled pasts or some block they have to overcome to move forward. Sergio is a perfect example of this. In the previous book of this series, we found out that he was a double agent between the FBI and Mafia. He did so to save members of the family, but still it goes against everything. Now, he has direct orders to marry and protect a girl wanted by the Russia mob. Also she's terminally ill. So yeah, it's quite the explosive and emotional storyline. I worried over the direction the five families were headed. I laughed at the digs the guys and their women got in on each other. I teared up during the emotional times (be ready for tears). And of course I was, as always, surprised by Luca's mastermind black folders he left behind. I love this series, and I can't wait to find out what the crew is up to next!
