So much to embrace in this magical storyline

I adore Ethan! Embrace the Magic is a character driven story with two central characters who think they know what they want out of their future, and where their future will be. Caris Roane has created an interesting and complex world in which the debate is not simply 'can I give up living in the sunlight for a vampire' but beyond that two worlds co-exist, the Realms and Earth, so living together in Bergisson means leaving behind everything our leading lady knew and dreamed of or expected out of from her life in Louisiana... adding the question 'at the drop of the hat would you move around the world to live with a person you barely know who you hope might love you?' These questions are pondered while an interesting plot is going on, further developing the world and leaving me yearning for the next book in the series. I was given this story in exchange for an honest review, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ethan and Samantha seemed to learn some of life's greatest lessons in just a few days.

The Mastyrs just get better and better

This book is even better than the las one. Mastyr Ethan’s world has been turned upside down, by the frequent murders of his guard and by the presence of Samantha, a half human half fae who just happens to be a blood rose. The attraction between them is instant but then her very existence is to serve a Mastyr though neither Ethan nor Samantha want to be bound by a partner. But with other Mastyrs present with the same blood starvation, Samantha cannot control the urge to feed them even though she cannot accept that they are not Ethan. And Ethan finds that he is not happy to share her with anyone. As the danger to her and Ethan's realm increases, Samantha begins discovering her lost heritage and Ethan finds himself becoming more and more dependent on her. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review
