    Embrace

Ms. Foster has done it again. I love second chance romance but lately they have all seemed too alike. Ms. Foster has reminded me once again why I love a great second chance romance and why hers are the best. I couldn't help but root for Grace and Reed for the very start. Reed is the perfect book boyfriend we all want and so does Grace, even if she doesn't want to admit it. Grace needs a nudge to allow herself to give in to her heart but once she does she doesn't look back. The world building these series has always blown me away and now I'm even more excited to see what will happen when the Braden's and Montgomery's come together.

    Boring, not worth the read

DNF. The story just dragged. Characters had no depth, and everything was predictable. This was my second time reading Melissa Foster. Didn’t like the first book, and now I know I need to stay away.

    Loved it

5 Star review of Embracing Her Heart (The Bradens & Montgomerys (Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls) #1) by Melissa Foster Having read several books by Melissa Foster I jumped at the chance to read this one and I was in no way disappointed When Grace Montgomery returns home she is suddenly made to realise just how easy it was for her to remove herself from her sisters drama filled lives when she was living in New York. Not only do they draw her in, but she comes face to face with the one man she hoped never to see again, Reed Cross. Reed too has returned home and crosses paths with the woman he was once in love with, his first love Grace, a woman he has never truly forgotten. What happens, when Reed wants to re connect and Grace is bound and determined not too? Who will win this battle? When circumstances finally bring these two together, their obvious chemistry and passion cannot be denied, however at what cost? Will Grace be prepared to give love with Reed another chance? Grace is a strong and independent woman who certainly gave as good as she got, I really liked her. Her family was hilarious and I cannot wait to read more about them in coming releases. This is a well written story that tugged at the heart strings and is a second chance at love story; full of hopes and dreams and one that I recommend.

    Embrace this one!

EMBRACING HER HEART by Melissa Foster. This is Grace and Reed's tale and what a tale it is! Grace is a strong, independent woman but when she bumps into Reed, her first love, her vulnerability comes through. Reed, what a swoon worthy guy. He stole my heart. Together, they are one of my all time favorite couples - and that is saying a lot. I loved following along as they journeyed the path together to find happiness. The secondary characters bring much life to the tale as well, and I certainly hope Ms. Foster sees to writing their stories soon too. EMBRACING HER HEART is a contemporary romance that made my heart sing - I can't wait to read it again! (received ARC for honest review)

Small town hero get's the girl!

The story and narration were right on point with Embracing Her Heart. This is a second chance love story that bypasses all of the lengthy problems that occur in other romance stories and get's right down to the nitty gritty of a real relationship. Grace and Reed have a second chance at love in the small town they grew up in. Both left, leaving each other heartbroken as well. But they had their chance to see what life would be like away from one another. When Reed moves back and Grace comes to visit for vacation, they run into each other again and it's all sparks and fireworks from that point. This story focused on their relationship and well as Reed's feeling of abandonment due to his father leaving him as a small child. I really liked that the story was focused on their current relationship and being together instead of bringing some other problem into the storyline. It was interesting, hot and full of redemption in many ways. The narration was so on-point. Andy and Sebastian did a fantastic job of making these characters come to life and that is what I look for in an audio book.
