Great book to teach you as your own psychologist!

Before I started reading this book, I thought it will be more likely educational, and many theories in the academic way.  As I kept reading, I found it really engaging.  It shows an easy to follow pass and down-to-earth approach to discover yourself, face who you really are, and learn practical tools on how to better deal the relationship, actively handle the challenging situations.  I moved to the states nearly two years ago, and experienced a lot of struggles and stresses. My case may be a little unusual, but I believe everyone got more or less issues happened in daily life, struggled sometimes on decisions making, hesitated to take risks and uncertainty, dwell in the comfort zone, etc.  All the frustrations and anxiety will have a negative impact on our experience and even cause un-desired results. I hope I could had read this book 2 years ago, to better prepare myself before the life changing event. This book is inspiring, and get myself more equipped. I am very glad that I read it and like to share my reading experience. Hope many more can also benefit from it.

    Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant

This book is amazing. Filled with practical easy to use tips and things you can do in your daily life. It changed my attitude to my work, and to my marriage, and helped me to be more positive and more effective. It is incredibly well-researched and shows heart - the writing is so authentic and filled with real-life examples. This is an incredible combination of an authoritative book written by a top scientist that anyone can read and benefit from. Buy it - you won't regret it.

    Emotional Agility

An interesting concept of Emotional Agility that educates us on taking ownership of ourselves, stepping back and showing up to ensure that our behaviours are in line with our values, walk the why and choosing courage over comfort as we vitally engage with new opportunities to learn and grow as we thrive in life and work...

    Snooze Teaching

Didnt finish the book. I found it too preachy to the point of boring. I didnt care about any of the stories presented.
